Best Buy Mobile is offering the new Motorola Verizon Droid on pre-sale starting today, October 29. The phone will run you $199.99 with a two-year contract just like it will through Verizon, but if you buy at BBYM you won't have to deal with a mail-in rebate. Verizon is going to charge $299 up front with a $100 mail-in rebate coming later in the form of a debit card, while BBYM will process your rebate at the time of purchase, getting you out the door for two bills (plus the usual barrage of taxes and fees).
Yes, this is a pre-sale. Droids won't land in Best Buy Mobile stores until November 6.

Full Disclosure: We've got a nifty new partnership with Best Buy Mobile. They're supplying us with some devices to review and giveaway, we're giving them some love in our videos, and some other goodness may be coming down the pike. We're not in any way trying to tell you where to buy your next cell phone, but rather pointing out a deal as we try to do from time to time. Take the information and make your own informed decisions please, as always.
