Despite various reports about the status of the HTC Touch Pro2 on US Cellular, it looks as if the device is a definite "go." What's more, the U.S. Cellular version will be the first CDMA Touch Pro2 to ship with Windows Mobile 6.5. All of the other features are stock - a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.6-inch tilting touchscreen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, and a microSD card slot with support for up to a 32 GB card.
I took the picture above at the PCD booth at CTIA (who actually makes the Touch Pro2 for HTC), which clearly indicates that there's a U.S. Cellular version out there. If a picture isn't enough proof for you, the folks over at WMExperts have sleuthed through the website to find the typical U.S. Cellular "fact page" - a typical indicator that the device is on its way.
Pricing and an official launch date are still unknown, but with the sales success of the device to date on other wireless carriers, I can see why they want to get their hands on it as quickly as possible.
