In addition to the HTC Imagio announcement, which Noah covered early this morning, Verizon also announced three other devices: the Motorola Barrage, Nokia Shade, and the PCD Razzle (marketed as the "Verizon Wireless Razzle").
First up, the Motorola Barrage. As we previously reported, the Barrage is one of two push-to-talk devices slated for launch this year. According to the press release, the Barrage meets military specifications for dust, shock, rain, temperature changes, altitude, and vibration. It can be submersed in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Features include a 2.0-megapixel camera, large 1170 mAh battery, dual speakers, and Verizon's premium services (V CAST, VZ Navigator).
It will be available online and to business channels on October 1st (today), with retail store availability on November 16th. Pricing is set for $129.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year agreement.
Next, the Nokia Shade 2705. Set to be available as an online-only phone option for a while, the device offers a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and VZ Navigator. It will be available online beginning on October 6th, for $29.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.
And finally, unfrazzle and be dazzled by the Verizon Wireless Razzle! Sorry, I had to do it. Sporting a unique design where the keypad rotates 180 degrees to reveal music player shortcut keys, the phone offers a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.2-inch display, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, VZ Navigator, and 1X connectivity (unfortunately, no EVDO to be had on the Razzle). The device will be available online for $69.99, and in retail stores soon.
Four new phones announced in one day (counting the Imagio)! Who's buying?
