There has been a lot of rumbling going on since I posted on the rumor that we'd see MyTouch by the end of the month. So much that I've got to toss out another nutshell post just to touch on as many news items as possible. Maybe touch is the wrong word.
Unwired View nicely summarizes the path of a survey-taker's screengrabs that reveal the potential names "T-Mobile G3," "T-Mobile Genius 3G with Google," "T-Mobile myTouch 3G with Google," and "T-Mobile Prism 3G with Google." Then again, maybe someone's just having a bit of fun. To confuse things further, the next UK device is to be called T-Mobile G1 Touch."
Back to the next US Android device. It will not hit the streets by the end of the month. However, Tmonews has made the announcement (clearly demarcated as rumor) that we might see pre-sales on July 8th. Considering that Engadget has confirmed the public unveiling of "the follow-on device to the T-Mobile G1 with Google," the timing seems plausible.
And lastly, here's a T-Mobile branded... device. Whatever it's called, it sure looks good. And while I won't likely have one any time soon, I can guarantee you there will be plenty to talk about before the month is up.
