Though the device has been available for some time on other carriers, Verizon Wireless customers have been eager to get their hands on the device since being listed as "coming soon" in the company's latest plan magazine.  A poster over at Crackberry's forums noted that dummy units were arriving in stores, usually meaning that a formal launch is approximately three weeks away.  Granted, the Tour 9630 is definitely the blockbuster on Verizon this summer, but given the slow rate at which US CDMA carriers pick up BlackBerry devices, anything running OS 4.6 or above is a welcome sight.

* Verizon Wireless and BlackBerry confirmed for us that the Pearl Flip 8230 Silver will be available starting 6/19/09 for $129.99 after rebate and with new contract.
