Facebook v1.5 for BlackBerry launches
After a few bugs at launch (namely, calendar problems and telephone number issues), Facebook v1.5 for BlackBerry devices is officially available (in good working order).  The application now allows users to access and manage their Facebook contacts list and integrate it with their BlackBerry address book. Callers from a users Facebook address book will appear with their profile picture as the caller ID and birthdays and events will also be integrated automatically into users' BlackBerry calendars.  Additionally, support for French, Italian German Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Czech, Traditional/Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages is now available, broadening the potential user base.  The application can be downloaded over-the-air via http://www.blackberry.com/facebook.

Samsung Trance U490 now available
Launching today on Verizon Wireless, the Samsung Trance U490 is available in 'Piano Black' and 'Electric Red.'  Offered at $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement, the Samsung Trance can be found on Verizon Wireless' website and through retail stores.  More information about the device, including technical specifications, can be found here.



First look at the LG Glance VX7100 for Verizon Wireless
PhoneArena has confirmed that the LG Glance VX7100 will be a candybar phone; a rarely used form factor for LG.  The device will be positioned under the VX8360, as it has no EVDO (1X only), but will still offer VCast Music with Rhapsody.  It will also offer a 1.3 megapixel camera, and Bluetooth.  Via PhoneArena



Leaked OS 4.7.0.132 available for BlackBerry Storm
After an ever-so-brief
lull, the beta-OS builds are at it again.  OS 4.7.0.132 has been
released for the BlackBerry Storm 9530.  As with any unofficial
