In what seems to be an interesting concept, T-Mobile UK has launched a "Pay Once" plan for the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 that allows the user to pay £180 ($262/€201) and receive unlimited e-mail and data for 12 months.  Minutes, text messages, and picture messages are still pay per use, however.



T-Mobile said that the concept was designed to put the device in the hands of new customer groups that were previously weary of signing a monthly contract.  Should the program be successful, it may be extended to other BlackBerry models in T-Mobile's lineup.
