Since Adriana reported on rumors of a BlackBerry Storm 2, new information has come to light - and from a relatively reliable source to boot. Alain Segond von Banchet, Channel Sales Manager for RIM in the Netherlands, reportedly shed light on the Storm 2 yesterday during the TeleVisie 2009 Expo. According to him, the Storm 2 will launch in late 2009 or early 2010, and will feature an improved method of typing as we previously thought.
Where Segond von Banchet appears to lose some credibility, however, is in his statement that the company will be slowing their release schedule, and no new RIM devices will launch until the Storm 2. Considering the Niagra 9630 (which we've covered) is arriving soon, we're assuming that he's referring to new devices in the Netherlands. As with any rumor, only time will tell.
