Don't get me wrong, there is certainly a target market for it, but we doubt that it'll take a huge bite out of RIM's market share. Regardless, Peek has launched a new e-mail device called the Pronto that offers more features than its predecessor - namely, up to five push e-mail accounts, support for PDFs, DOCs and pictures, 8MB of internal memory and a 2.5 QVGA 65,000-color display. The device also has a full QWERTY keyboard, making it even easier to message.
The device runs on T-Mobile's network, and offers e-mail and SMS for $19.95 monthly. It can be had for $79.95.
