iSuppli is at it again, and in their latest discovery, the BlackBerry Storm costs more to manufacture than the iPhone 3G, which rings in at approximately $175. Orange UK launches prepaid BlackBerry Pearl 8120
In a move that many would only hope that the United States carriers would follow, Orange UK has launched RIM's BlackBerry Pearl 8120 on their prepaid service. Congressman seeks to ban silent cell phones
Predators, beware: if New York Rep. Pete King has his way, cell phones will be required to make an audible noise when a photograph is taken. The Camera Phone Predator Act (H.R. 414) states that "Congress finds that children and adolescents have been exploited by photographs taken in dressing rooms and public places with the use of a camera phone." MetroPCS has launched myMetro, a customer service feature designed to allow users more control over their wireless account on-the-go. Through the service, customers can check their account balance, pay bills, add money to their account, change rate plans and services, and modify myMetro settings.
