This is funny. Apparently there was a line around the block at Apple's flagship store in Midtown Manhattan today. Why? Nobody's quite sure. The best guess/bit of information is that the store got a new shipment of iPhones - the current model - and enough people wanted one to warrant the long line.
Of course the blogosphere got all hot, heavy, and investigative reporter-like, trying to find out what was really going on - i.e. Did Apple release the 3G iPhone and not tell anyone? Uh, no. No 3G iPhone, no performance art piece ... just a bunch of people who maybe don't know that if they waited a few more weeks they could have gotten the brand new iPhone that I just know (I JUST KNOW IT!) will be unveiled at WWDC on June 9th.
No news is good news, right?
