With the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona just around the corner, new handsets are being leaked every day from all corners of the world across the InterWeb. The latest goodie to make its way onto our screens? This new Sony Ericsson model, which may be called the K780, K830, or K870 - it's a bit unclear at this point what SE will choose to call it.
What we do know with relative certainty is that this latest Cyber-Shot phone features a 5MP camera with dual-LED flash, integrated GPS, and a QVGA display capable of rendering 16 million colors. Speculation is that this is actually not SE's forthcoming flagship Cyber-Shot, a post currently held by the K850, which bests this unknown model with a true Xenon flash. Conventional wisdom - if there is such a thing in the rumor mill - has it that whatever SE's got up its sleeve to replace the K850 will pack an 8MP camera.
We should know more about this new Sony Ericsson within a few weeks. Mobile World Congress kicks off Feb. 11, and there's buzz that SE will be announcing at least one new handset in a press event as soon as January 24 (this Thursday).
