Yesterday at Houston International Airport, passengers traveling alone on Continental Airlines were able to try a new cellular phone boarding pass system. It allows for you to leave all the paperwork behind and check into your flight with an electronic boarding pass that was uploaded to your phone or PDA. Don't be alarmed if your battery dies or you forgot your phone, customers can still receive a paper copy of the boarding pass.
The program is scheduled to last for three months and if all goes well we could see other airports implementing the same service in the near future.
