It comes as no surprise that 80 percent of the 5000 respondents to a Nokia survey believe having a cell phone is essential to them achieving balance between their work and social life. What's more interesting, but not surprising is that women were found to be better at multi-tasking (talking on the phone, applying makeup flawlessly, drinking coffee while driving definitely proves the findings).
With all of the added features like to-do list, calendar, email, IM/text messaging, internet browsing it's easy to see why we turn to cell phones to increase our productivity. From sending a text message to update your ETA to replying to an important email from the office, we are ever increasing our reliance on our cell phones to get us through the day.
