Sprint announced today they are adding the Palm Centro to their lineup starting on October 14th for $99 after a rebate and 2 year contract. Although the Centro is the smallest device produced by Palm they still packed the phone with most of the traditional features one has come to expect from a ?Treo? like smartphone.
Key features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth technology, full QWERTY keyboard, expandable MicroSD slot and an updated version of the current Palm OS.It will be interesting to see whether or not the Centro will offer up any real competition to all of the new HTC and Blackberry phones coming to market. I for one would definitely spend the extra $$ to get the HTC 8925 over a phone that looks like it should have been released 3 years ago.
Sorry Palm, but it looks like you dropped the ball on this one!
