Well it's hard to say, but I would bet on SunCom customers having to change their rate plans to one of T-Mobiles current calling options. This would be especially hard for those customers who currently enjoy the ?Unlimited Calling? plan for only $69. There was also no mention if SunCom customers were going to have to replace their current phones and/or SIM cards to be compatible with T-Mobile carrier features like ?MyFavs?. I guess only time will tell.
Remember whenever there is a merger or buyout of some kind there is usually an opportunity to cancel your contract early especially if the change affects the consumer monetarily. That being said, I would be very surprised if T-Mobile doesn't offer SunCom customers several strong incentives (free phone, minutes, data usage) to stay considering the popularity of the iPhone and the depth of AT&T's and Verizon's new phone line up for Q4.
