It depends on whether you have a GSM or CDMA phone. With a GSM phone, just make sure you save all your contact to your SIM CARD, not your phones internal memory. CDMA phones require you to re-type your contacts manually, purchase the appropriate data cable and software, or for a small fee your carriers corporate store can transfer your contacts to your new phone.
