It's that time of the month where we reflect on some of the best apps to hit our mobile devices in the past 30 days. In this video, we've compiled 10 iOS apps we believe are worth sharing and worth installing. But if you have any app suggestions, please feel free to leave them in a comment below.
Foodie
The first app is Foodie. I'm a foodie, no question about it. While I have a good level of restraint by not posting every single food pic I've snapped to Instagram, this app makes every food picture of mine worth sharing. You can choose from a variety of filters and effects that best suit your food. It's amazing what a little editing can do.
Twofold Inc.
Twofold Inc. is a puzzle game that consists of tiles. You have to chain color tiles together to clear evolving challenges. It's a lot like Tetris or Bejeweled but with much better graphics, much better sound effects and much better game mechanics.
Thrive Market
Thrive Market is an online store that sells natural and organic products at wholesale prices. No, this isn't a sponsor. If you guys know me personally, you'll know that I try to eat as healthy as possible. Sometimes it doesn't always happen but at least I try. I found this app surprisingly useful as I can find a lot of healthy food for relatively cheap prices. I do highly recommend this app though if you're a health conscious person like myself. You really all should be but I understand the financial element in the equation.
Blackbox
Blackbox Think Outside the Box is another fun puzzle game. You may have noticed I really love puzzle games. This game contains over 50 puzzles. But what's different about this game is that you don't need to touch your screen. Instead, you completely the puzzles by rotating your smartphone, by shouting, snapping, traveling. It's one of the most unique puzzle games I've ever come across. I highly recommend it.
Super Tribes
Super Tribes is a turn-based strategy game with lovely animations and aesthetics. You fight evil tribes while discovering new lands and mastering new technologies. You'll never get bored as the maps are auto-generated so each game will, in theory, be completely different than the last.
Just2Do
Just2Do is the most basic To Do list productivity app I've ever come across. If you simply want an app to manage all of your upcoming tasks and not much else, look no further than Just2Do. You separate To Dos based off what you have to do today, what you have scheduled to do, and what To Dos you have completed. It's that simple.
AC: Identity
Assassin's Creed: Identity is Unisoft's RPG game typically made for PCs and consoles but for your mobile device. I imagine you already know a lot about Assassin's Creed. It's been around for several years now. But if not, basically you play as a ninja assassin of sorts, killing bad guys and scaling buildings. I'm really impressed with how well this game runs on my iPhone and I can only imagine how awesome it would run on an iPad Pro. It's crazy to think you don't really need a dedicated gaming console anymore when you have an iOS device.
Movesum
Movesum is a step counter app with a gorgeous design. Yes, you heard that right. It's gorgeous. You can view how many steps you've taken and what you've burned in food and calories. You can even set up daily goals and breaks to work towards. Like I said earlier, I really love the simplistic modern design of apps. It makes me want to go on a jog and burn off a cafe latte.
Music Memos
Music Memos is an app recently released by Apple. And as with everything Apple, it too is incredibly simple. I wanted to share this app to all the songwriters watching this video as it's made for you. You can record any musical instrument as high quality, uncompressed audio. Then you can name the song, tag the song, and rate your ideas ultimately to build a collection of your own tunes. If you're a songwriter, let me know your thoughts of this app in a comment below. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Infuse
But the last app I want to share with you is called Infuse. It's very similar to the Foodie app, except it's made for video and it's not made exclusively for food pictures. It's very loosely related. What it does is that it adds filters to your pre-recorded videos and it does a great job doing just that. There's about 13 free filters or so but you can purchase additional filters for $1 each. In addition, you have some basic photo editing tools built into the app that allow you to tweak the brightness, contrast, shadows, etc. I highly recommend this app if you take a lot of videos on your device.
With that last one, those were 10 of our favorite apps released or updated in the month of February 2016.
