For this video update to the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Challenge, I'm talking about battery life, 4G LTE connectivity on AT&T, and the fact that you only get 9.62 GB of available space on the 16 GB Galaxy S 4.

Every time I use an international device (read: non-LTE), I find myself missing the insanely fast speeds that LTE networks often produce.  Sure enough, after being back on an AT&T-branded device, I'm cruising happy with download speeds between 20-40 Mbps, depending on where I'm at in Dallas.

So far, I've seen a little bit more lag on the unit than I'd like to admit, though right now, I'm chalking it up to the pictures, music, and the like that I transferred over to the device.  Speaking of content, I'm a bit disappointed that the phone only has 9.62 GB of available storage space on it out of the box.  I'm no storage hog (I typically buy the 16 GB variant of any smartphone), but with 1.5 GB of space left, I'm beginning to sweat.

The surprise for me has been battery life.  Coming from the Note II, I expected battery life to be sub-par, both because of my expectations and the fact that Galaxy S 4 has a 1080p HD display.  I've been pleasantly surprised.  Good battery life is one of my top three requirements when I carry a smartphone, and the Galaxy S 4 delivers.
