I haven’t done a 30-day challenge in quite a long time. I was actually doing one on the OnePlus 2 and I thought I should probably do one on another device that a lot of you guys are probably really interested in. you guys know that I’m talking about this thing right here, the Galaxy Note 5. It’s wearing a beautiful carbon-fiber back skin from Slickwraps.
So I’m doing a 30-day challenge on the Galaxy Note 5—basically testing out all the things that people would normally do during a month’s worth of usage. I’ll be traveling with it to IFA Berlin tomorrow so that means I’ll be putting this thing through a lot of good usage internationally—a lot of travel, a lot of battery strain, a lot of other stuff like that. Also some hotspot tethering because you know Wi-Fi in Europe is kind of sketchy sometimes. So I’ll be using this thing quite a lot over the next couple of days so I thought maybe I should do a 30-day challenge to update you guys on my daily usage of the Galaxy Note 5.
I won’t be making a video every single day. I’m aiming for one video per week so it’ll be a total of 4 videos in a 30-day cycle. And I’ll be talking about a lot of stuff. So I also want you guys to ask me questions to address on my 30-day challenge videos including camera, battery life, software experience, updates, and S Pen things. Obviously I’m not putting my S Pen backwards but kind of stuff like that.
And also, I’ll be sharing a lot of my usage type of experiences with the Galaxy Note 5—if it stutters, lags, if I had any kind of apps crashed that I use a lot of times; just stuff like that general usage stuff that a lot of people like you will probably be interested in if you’re deciding whether to buy this or not, especially because the holiday season is right around the corner and this could be a very good Christmas present.
But you probably know that I just dropped my Galaxy Note 5 review so I’ll make sure to drop a link for that if you want to check it out. But overall, all of the experiences that I have in my review are basically exactly the same as of right now. The screen is beautiful, the hardware’s beautiful. Obviously there are some downfalls with the expandable storage but other than that, it’s been a fantastic device and honestly one of my favorite devices so far of this year. But there’s quite a lot of time left in 2015 so that’s why I haven’t really crowned a single phone as my favorite. Obviously, the OnePlus 2 is really up there but there’s also some lacking hardware features on that phone as well.
Anyway guys, I want to keep this video short and just do an update video—an introduction to the Galaxy Note 5 30-Day Challenge here on PhoneDog.com. Make sure to leave your comments and requests below and I’ll address them later.
