Cam unboxes the brand new Lumia 930. It's the latest Windows Phone flagship, and the first high-end device to ship with WP 8.1 out of the box. Its specs aren't bad either. It has a 5-inch 1080p ClearBlack AMOLED display and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 32GB storage and 2GB of RAM. What's more, with a 20-megapixel PureView camera and dual-LED flash, it should produce fantastic images.
In appearance, it's almost identical to the Lumia Icon released exclusively on Verizon. Its chassis is predominantly metal, with a glass panel on the front and a slightly curved, bright plastic cover on the back. It's a weird combination in that it looks classy, premium and business-class from the front, but playful and full of life on the back. Time will tell if it lives up to my expectations. Whether or not it's enough to make Windows Phone a real contender is yet to be seen.
