Nikon has introduced a small, digital point and shoot camera with one giant sensor. It's called the Nikon Coolpix A and it's a bit strange. Just looking at it, a normal person would think it's a normal digital camera, but a small DX logo near the lens would tell otherwise. Underneath its almost featureless body, the Nikon Coolpix A features a 16.1 megapixel CMOS sensor that's lifted directly from the Nikon D7100 DSLR.
The Coolpix A is capable of taking amazing stills and full 1080p HD Videos. The one oddity about this camera is the lens itself. Not only is it a fixed focal length, but it's permanently fixed to the camera itself. Obviously that's meant to keep the device's overall size down, but it also means that the Coolpix A doesn't support interchangeable lenses, which is a pretty big feature to be missing.
