Sydney does a full review of the LG Optimus V from Virgin Mobile. The Optimus V is a standard mid-range Android device that ships with stock Android 2.2, a 600 MHz processor and a 3.2 MP auto-focus camera. Though it's not a high-end smartphone, the performance of the device was very impressive. The 600 MHz processor did a good job of keeping up and the 3G data speeds were great.

The phone is especially impressive considering the price. It's only $150 from Virgin Mobile with no contract. Virgin Mobile also has some of the best plans from a prepaid carrier.
