LG versus Samsung - it's a dogfight between two large smartphones!  Sold at AT&T, the LG Optimus G Pro sports a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 5.5-inch 1080p IPS HD display, 2 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 3,140 mAh battery, and 4G LTE connectivity on AT&T (though the international version, used in this video, does not feature LTE in the US).  The US variant is available exclusively at AT&T for $199.99 with a two-year agreement.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II offers a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 3,100 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 with TouchWiz.  It's available at AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular in white and black.

The LG Optimus G Pro has better hardware features (including the new Snapdragon 600 chip), but the Note II's software goodies and S Pen, along with availability on multiple carriers, are quite nice.  Which one will win the head to head battle?  Part 2 of 2.
