The iPhone 6 leaks are now coming hard and fast ahead of the device’s official unveiling on Tuesday. Yesterday we saw some images and video of a purported working iPhone 6 model, and now the device is the star of a 7-minute video review.
In the video, we can see what looks to be a white iPhone 6 model that’s similar to the unit in yesterday’s image and video leaks. During the video, he shows off the hardware of the iPhone 6, including the purported Touch ID fingerprint sensor, the Camera, Photos and Health apps and a hardware comparison of the iPhone 5s to the iPhone 6. As in yesterday’s leak, we can also see that the Passbook icon on the iPhone 6 appears to have a new credit card stripe that’s not present in the current app.
The video is in Mandarin, so it’s difficult to decipher exactly what the person in the clip is talking about, but some folks have come forward to provide a rough translation of what’s being said. The iPhone 6 is said to be lighter than the iPhone 5s and can be comfortably used with one hand. The rear camera of the iPhone 6 protrudes from the unit’s body. Finally, the act of snapping photos is said to be very fast.
Just as with yesterday’s leak, it’s tough to say with any certainty whether or not this alleged iPhone 6 is the real deal. Both the hardware and software seem to line up with what we’re expecting to see from Apple on Tuesday, and it’d take a lot of effort to put together such an elaborate fake just to fool the Internet. Good thing that we’ve only got 48 hours to wait before Apple officially takes the wraps off of its next smartphone.
UPDATE: YouTuber Justin Tse has posted a version of the iPhone 6 review video with an English translation dubbed on top of the regular audio.
