Aaron goes hands-on with the newest version of iOS.  One of the biggest updates since the iPhone was debuted, iOS 5 offers a number of improvements, including subtle notifications, wireless syncing, and OTA updates.  The notifications system is a huge improvement over the past, where users were interrupted with a big, blue box in the middle of the screen.  Now, users have a drop-down menu (think Android here) and notifications show up at the top of the display.

It'll be available to the general public later in the year, but those with Apple developer accounts can download the beta build now.
