It's a first look at Huawei's newest flagship device, the Huawei Ascend P2, at Mobile World Congress 2013! Intended to compete with some of the other high-end devices in the space, the Ascend P2 offers a 1.5 GHz quad-core Huawei K3V2 processor, 4.7-inch HD display, 13-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 1 GB of RAM, a 2,420 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Huawei's Emotion UI. While the specifications are nice, I would have loved to have seen 2 GB of RAM.
Huawei doesn't have the brand reputation in the United States that they have around the world, but in their press conference yesterday, they reaffirmed their commitment to building the name in the coming months.
