Cam went to HTC’s event to look at the brand new One M9. And it has to be said: the company’s done a great job improving what needed to be better from the One (M8) and leaving alone all the awesome stuff we’re used to. It has the same unibody aluminium design as the One (M8), but with a slight difference: there's now have dual-tone look. The edges on this particular model are gold, where the back is silver/grey.
It’s also worth noting that the buttons have changed design for the better. No more reaching over the top to get to the power key. because it’s on the right-hand edge — right where it should — easily reachable below the two now separate volume buttons.
From the front, the HTC One M9 looks very familiar. It’s got the same BoomSound make-up on the top and bottom of its face, and the speakers have with 5.1 surround sound thanks to a partnership with Dolby. The One M9's display is a 5.0-inch 1920x1080 panel using HTC's usual IPS LCD technology, and it’s powered by the Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM. We also have a 20-megapixel camera on back, a 2,840mAh battery inside and four different color finishes. Is it going to be the best phone of 2015?
