With the Google Nexus 7, the company's Nexus line of devices takes a bold step into the tablet market. Manufactured by ASUS and announced at Google I/O, the Nexus 7 offers a 1.3 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU, 7-inch IPS HD display (1280x800 pixels), a front-facing camera, 4,325 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Jelly Bean brings Google's Project Butter into the equation, which is intended to help with overall fluidity. So far, it's an excellent tablet that offers some nice specs and is a great buy at $199.99. It'll be available through Google Play in 8 and 16 GB variants in mid-July. Part 1 of 2.
