Google Glass has been pretty popular in the tech community for being, well, pretty neat. Its ability to wow people who don’t even know what it is pretty special these days. This is our Google Glass Challenge, which will be last a little over a month and cover all aspects of using Google Glass, followed by a full review of the device.
In this episode we talk about the Google Glass user experience. The unit is presented in a huge box about three times the size of a normal iPad box, but there are only a few components inside: There's the Google Glass device itself, a carrying case, some cables and plugs and a couple pieces of literature that you’ll probably never read.
Picking up the Glass unit itself is actually kind of scary. While it looks heavy and fragile at the same time, but the reality is neither is true. Glass is super lightweight, only slightly heavier than my sunglasses, and is extremly flexible thanks to its all-titanium band. The experience of using Glass for the first time is a lot different from the standard smartphone. This is something you wear and have to setup for yourself. All the factors of vision, eyestrain, shape of the face, everything!
