The good: The V360 is an excellent phone. The technology features such as the mp3 player, music video and movies support, expandable memory slot, USB port, and Bluetooth all work great! The battery, navigation tools, and speakerphone all work great as well.
The bad: The camera and video playback are acceptable but would be so much better with a megapixel camera. I do wish the external display was in color.
Summary: The V360 is powerful and does everything I need for it to do. I have enjoyed learning to use the phone and have impressed my friend's with a phone that is not being used by EVERYONE!!
The good: The look and feel of the phone is good and the sound quality is fine.
The bad: The camera is not good and the screen is so tiny and difficult to see if you are in any form of bright light. The battery life stinks, and my phone always keeps beeping that I have messages, even after I check my voicemail.
Summary: I should have known better when they were giving the phone away! I really could not be more disappointed with the V276. I am considering just buying a phone before I am eligible to upgrade so that I don't have to use this one anymore.
The good: Nice for a first generation phone. PTT works great, phone is user friendly.
The bad: No voice dialing, which renders BlueTooth handsfree 50% useless. It has annoying "confirmation tones" when you select menu options that can't be turned off on their own. No multiple profiles for ringer, such as LOUD, SOFT, MEETING, SILENT, etc.
Summary: This is a good first generation phone. It has it's flaws, but IMHO is still a great value. I still can't believe they wouldn't include voice dialing on a BT enabled phone.
The good: Uploads Divx and MP3s great, PDA,iPod and Cell phone in one compact bundle! Also has a super long battery life.
The bad: The joystick takes a little getting use to but overall no real downfalls to this phone
Summary: This phone has probably the best screen that I have ever seen. Converting movies to divx for playback was easy after reading a few sites, and using an adapter for some nice bose noise canceling headphones, this phone was great on a plane. I have used the sams x105, moto v600, mpx200, nokia 3250 and the SDA has far better reception then any of my others.
The good: Big display, sounds great, lots of included options you dont find on other phones at this price
The bad: Bluetooth is horrible on this phone. I have been through 3 expensive headsets all giving me the same grief. Whats the chance of getting 3 bad headsets. They have no loaner program so if I want it looked at, I have to go without a phone. I bought the phone for for its bluetooth capability and have been very dissappointed.
Summary: Great phone as long as you dont need the bluetooth features. Very poor bluetooth. Overpriced if bluetooth doesnt work properly.
Knowing that my son is able to contact us at any time is wonderful. The firefly is so convenient for younger children and should make every parent feel safe knowing their child has one.
The good: I decided to try the 2300 in red because I was ready for a happy cellular phone that stood out. I have been very satisfied so far with my decision. I am on the phone constantly and this phone has a great battery life. The speakphone is handy and very clear. I have owned other phones that said they vibrated, but this one actually does work great!
The bad: I wish the outer display could be bigger.
Summary: I have been very pleased. The phone is study and is vibrant. Features like voice memo and voice dialing are perfect for people that are on the go as much as I am!
The good: The i920 is clear. The display screen is clear, the sound quality is clear, and the external display is clear! I also enjoy the fact that I am able to make a call, alert someone, use the walkie talkie feature or answer a call without even opening the phone!
The bad: Missing Bluetooth. Battery life is not good.
Summary: I am happy with my new i920. It is really a nice looking phone and I am enjoying the features. Hopefully Bluetooth can be added to the phone at some point!
The good: I have really been enjoying my new Motorola V557. It's a great flip phone that is sturdy and handles being dropped well! With advanced features such as Bluetooth and EDGE, I am able to communicate with friends easily and comfortably. The sound quality on the phone has also been great.
The bad: Battery life has not been the best so far.
Summary: Overall this phone has really meet all of my needs. I like the look and am really enjoying all of the features it offers.
The good: The keypads are nice and large,Easy to read crystal clear screen, Very Good Reception, Good Voice Recognition,Camera takes great pictures plus records video,Long Battery Life
The bad: Speakerphone has echo complaints on other end
Summary: I had just been to the Verizon Store and was due for my new every two years Phone upgrade. Had a Motorola V-60s for the last two years and it served me well no complaints. After doing a little research I decided to go with the Motorola E-815 Liked the looks and features of it plus it had good reviews on Reception and sound quality. This a loaded all the bells and whistles phone and I am very Impressed with it so far. Reception is great, Camera takes very good clear pictures,Sound Quality is excellent, keypads are big enough and easy to read. Fantastic Crystal Clear screen. Many features it has I have yet to use yet such as MP-3 player and Bluetooth wireless headset. Camera also takes great video clips. It honestly is the best cellphone I have owned. Only complaint I have so far is when using the speakerphone the person on the other end complains of an echo.I would highly recommend this phone and give it a 4.8 out of 5
The good: For me, I find the speakerphone clear, the camera reliable, and have been able to record up to three minutes of video. The menu grid is excellent as well.
The bad: Getting to the phonebook is tedious and the joystick has been hard to get used to.
Summary: I have really enjoyed using this phone so far. It's unique in style and has been easy to learn how to use. All around, I would give this phone a good review.
The good: It's just great! It has every thing!
The bad: People might steal it!
Summary: This phone is grat to me becaue I can take pictures, chirp and record the stupid stuff my friends do. I also like when people call you can see there picture and you can record your own ringers. This phone is the best.
The good: The size is great, much smaller then you would think. Surfing the web is easy and I can get to any page so far with no problems. Good applications and a great main screen that allows for you to set up upcoming appointments and to-do list. I have found navigating thru the phone easy if you take the time to learn the shortcuts.
The bad: Since most people like their speakerphone function, this one is not very good. The design of the screen causes for you to have to be in just the right light to actually read anything from it. The keyboard is impossible to see in dim lights. The phone has been dying a lot and request that you reboot it. Even though I found the shortcuts for navigating, I have noticed that they don't all work. And finally, when I send a text message it doesn't save in my sent items so that I can read what I a
Summary: I have had the phone for about a week and have mixed feelings so far. I really would like for the pros to out-weight the cons, but I haven't made up my mind about returning it or not yet. At least I still have a couple more days!!
The good: I have only had this handset for a week but so far I am pretty happy with it. It is reasonably easy to navigate (takes a little getting used to after the Samsung I replaced E700) I find it well featured - the things that I looked for in a phone were - thin to be able to be put in back pocket, decent camera, Real/true tone, photo caller-id, decent screen size and a reasonably solid make. The video calling and voice recorder were a bonus. I have used both of these features also and although I have
The bad: You need to press more buttons to send a message than what I am used to. Not quite as attractive as some of the other phones like the Motorolla RAZR.
Summary: Generally speaking I am very happy with this phone. I would reccommend it to others.
The good: excellent battery life, small, bluetooth ready, all the features you could expect in a more expensive phone
The bad: camera is okay. could use a flash. i haven't found a way to disfunction camera when in pocket. it will take pictures if resting in your pocket a certain way.
Summary: I went from a brick(nextel i730) to this phone. Best of all I got it for free with a 50 dollar rebate. I love the bluetooth. It's just what I needed. Did I mention all the features? Lot's of features.
The good: Great visual, feel and features
The bad: Same bad power connection in jack to phone, bad user manual and web site support
Summary: This will be a journal of my first few days as a new owner of a V555.

March 25, 2006

As a preface I am a brand new user of the V555 as of yesterday. I use the Dobson Cellular One system in Northern Michigan. I traded up from my V60S and use the phone almost exclusively in my car driving around 33 counties in Northern Michigan.

The V555 upgrades so many things such as Bluetooth, color screen, polyphonic ring tones and SIM card technology.

I have no experience yet using the GSM network to see if I get better reception but I certainly have an opinion so far in the two days that I have been programming the phone.

First of all I decided on this phone 1st because of the decent reputation of Motorola and secondly because I want to use Bluetooth while in my car. Cellular One offered the V190 as free for a two-year contract, but I decided to spend the extra $100 to get this V555 specifically for Bluetooth.

I love the look and feel of the phone. It is much lighter than the V60S that I had (granted- I had an extended battery on that). There are many positives which you can read about here and I will mention as the spirit moves.

Now some clear negatives about Motorola as they are fresh on my mind. The users manual is terrible. It is clearly written by people who speak English as a second language. Basic things are not taught, such as the difference between ?phone? and ?SIM? phone book entry. It also does not clearly differentiate between ?Quick Dialing?, ?1-Touch dialing? and ?speed dialing?. So they end up throwing vocabulary around with presumptions that we know the differences.

Then the Motorola website is just as bad. Again, their support area is terrible and does not answer obvious and valid questions. I took my phone in the retailer today and they also had no idea how to answer my questions and ended up calling Cellular One Customer Service. Answers were finally answered, but I had to go to all that hassle to get basic questions answered.

It turns out that you cannot program 1-touch dialing in SIM mode. So all 112 of my phone book entries are under ?SIM? except for the nine ?1-touch? dialing entries. What a hassle.

OK- now for the big disappointment. The power connection jack on the bottom of the phone is the same bad design as their older phones. This connection is terrible and eventually goes bad as ALL my Motorola phone jacks have done. Those 4 prongs on the end of the jack always end up getting dirty or something after about one year and then don?t connect properly. The USB connection on my wife?s new V190 is great, I wish they could have incorporated the same connection on the V555.

I know my negatives are strong, but at this point those are my honest thoughts. Those negatives are not near enough to make me want to return this phone as the positives far outweigh the negatives.

More on the reception and day to day usage later?
The good: Stylish looking, light, great email push, can be used as a modem.
The bad: Trying to figure out how to use Yahoo messenger..
Summary: OK, OK, maybe I'm not falling in love, but I really do like my 8700c. I actually purchased the Cingular 8125 about 3 weeks ago. I heard all the hoopala and wanted to join in. The phone I "really" wanted was the Nokia 9300. But it has been pushed back, month after month. So I guess Nokia lost a customer. Now, as for the Blackberry 8700c, it has been all that I have really wanted. I was a bit unsure about the keys and their size, as I have large fingers. But to my plesant surprise, there was no problem. Just something you have to get used to. Oh, and as of a week ago, Cingular re-wrote the program for the Cingular Communication Manager. I think the new version is 5.2.1. Anyway, now you can use the 8700c as a modem. Simply go to the Cingular Web site (I would advise calling a data tech to walk you through the set up), download the latest version, and tada.., you're connected. As a matter of fact, I'm using it as a modem as I write this review. All in all, I think you'll be happy with the Blackberry 8700c. It's actually my first Blackberry, and like the other reviewer stated, I will probably only purchase Blackberrys from now on. For what it's worth, I actually gave up the 8125. :-)
This is my primary phone for work and home. I have been so satisfied with my service that I do not even have a home phone. I make payment through my phone with direct deposit. This is a wonderful feature and they email me a text message once it has paid. Customer service is always helpful if I have questions about my bill.
The good: styling
great buttons
voice dialing (so many phones seem to leave it out now)
Bluetooth
Customizable (especially the ringtones)

The bad: The size of the internal display screen is small and the speakerphone is not very good. I am constantly having to wipe the phone off because of fingerprints...
Summary: If you are wanting a small stylish phone this is it. With features similar to the RAZR it's not a smartphone but still does a lot.
