The good: I have never been able to break it
The bad: Not enough options in the phone
Summary: I have had this phone for about three years and I have actually tried to break this phone by dropping it two stories to the ground and it still lives! I could not ask any more of this phone.
The good: It is a good phone for normal talking. Battery would last for several days without needing to charge. It is not out of style still.
The bad: Pretty big phone
Summary: I like the phone because it is very good for normal talking with friends and family. It has some gaming support and text messaging. It's design still looks considering it has been 3 years already when it came out.
The good: -Good in metropolitan areas, high signals even through tunnels.
-Offers good phones and deals, plan prices are fair and kiosks provide excellent service.
The bad: -Bad in more rural city areas, dropped calls, no signal indoors.
Summary: Verizon offers many different phones at great prices. In addition, they offer great customer service and service plans. The signal quality is great in the city, but isn't as good in non-metropolitan areas, but it is still decent. I would recommend the carrier to a friend based on where they live and how they travel.
The good: It's very easy to use, small, and has a sleek design.
The bad: It does not have a colored screen. It is just dual band. The battery discharges very quickly.
Summary: I don't need a very fanciful cellphone with mp3 player, camera, emailing features and so on.. This phone is just perfect for me, user friendly, small (fits in your palm.... and my hands are small). It even fits easily in your tighest jeans pocket with ease... I have been using it for more than 3 years now and it's still working.. don't have much scratches either.. and I never used a cover.

The few drawbacks of this cellphone is that it's dual band. The battery sucks.. Fully charged battery doesn't even last for 2 hours of cell phone use. The battery gets drained if you don't turn off your cell phone in the flight. Silent mode does not help.

Sometimes the connection gets lost if you are in a park (between tall trees). But I don't know if it's the fault of the service or the phone itself.
The good: I love how you can record anything on it for a few minutes at a time.
The bad: This phone constantely cuts me off! Sometimes I think that the person that I am talking to is not responding, when really the phone had cut off in the middle of the conversation. And sometimes it takes four tries before a call will go through.
Summary: I fell in love with this phone when I first saw it and now I am very disappointed with the reception and lost calls. It is ridiculous!
The good: Unlimited nights and weekends
The bad: not free for additional phones
Summary: I've been happy with there plans. I enjoy being
able to call long distance evenings and weekends.
The good: This phone is great, I love the slider function instead of the flip.
The bad: NONE
Summary: This phone is a great phone, it is small and lightweight. I love the slider funciton instead of the flip or open face phones. I have dropped it several times and I have had no problems with it, it is a very sturdy phone.
They have great customer Service and This is the best signal and reception that I have ever had!
The good: Large Keyboard
Send and receive e-mails fast
Search easily for specific e-mails or to track how much you talk or receive a call from someone.

The bad: Ringer is not loud enough
It does not have the option to set how many rings before going to voice mail
Summary: Overall, I would not recommend this phone. Most of all because the ringer is not loud enough and sends a caller to voice mail too fast. I would try the Treo. It is too heavy and is hard to fit in your purse.
The good: perfect size and weight; love all the functions on the phone; perfect for my needs
The bad: don't always get service where I live
Summary: Overall, a great phone! I've had it for about 3 1/2 years and have never had a problem with it.
The good: LONG video length, "flashlight" function, looks really cool.
The bad: External antenna, not a smartphone, no memory card slot or USB plugin.
Summary: This is a great phone, if you're not looking for too much. You can take up to a half hour of video, the picture quality is decent and it has a really cool slider design.
The good: Small, MP3 Player, Still & Motion Camera
The bad: Takes a while to get used to menu options, can't use MP3's as ring-tones, no pre-installed games and really lame pre-installed ringtones, cover for USB port not attached to the phone
Summary: Got this phone back in March 06 through Verizon Wireless. Quite happy with the phone overall. On its own, it's a decent MP3 player that serves me well when I don't have my iPod on me. To hold more than 4 or so songs you have to get the optional memory card that goes in the side---it's a tiny little card that seems quite breakable, so try not to handle it too much.

The camera and motion picture recorder takes great photos and they come out wonderfully when uploaded to the computer. You can store the videos/pics you take either on the phone, or on the removable storage (memory card), just depending on your preferences.

The menus took a bit of time to get used to--granted, this was my first Samsung model phone and I was used to the ease and relative simplicity of Nokia phones. I was also disappointed in the lack of "quality" ringtones that were factory-set on the phone. There are no games either. Sadly, the only way you can get ring-tones for your phone is to pay through Verizon and download tones through them at $1.99 a pop. From what I understand, earlier versions of this phone had the ability to use MP3's that you uploaded onto the phone as ring tones, but sadly that option was taken away (most likely because Verizon realized what a mint they were losing!)

Same with games--none are pre-loaded and the ones you can get through Verizon are really...uh..lame. Especially for up to $5 per game.

I have not had the luxury of using the internet option on this phone--I just don't have the time to do so, but I hear it's great...but that's just second hand (wait a minute--isn't this whole REVIEW second hand?)

When you get the phone, you're advised not to hold the phone near the joint (where ear piece and mouthpeice are connected) because that's where the antenna is---kind of a silly place for an antenna! Holding it otherwise is ackward and strange, so I find that sometimes my calls are not as clear as they could be because of the strange placement of the antenna (internal).

And the ONE thing, above all else, that just CHEESES me off with the design of this phone:

On the bottom of the phone is this little hole that you can plug your AC adapter, USB plug, etc, into. Well, the plug-hole has a cover that is about the size of an ant and it's NOT ATTACHED TO THE PHONE!! THe cover for the headset is, and the cover for the flash drive is, but the cover for the power adapter and USB port isn't. That just drives me crazy! I don't want a whole bunch of junk getting up inside there!!! I thought I lost mine (I didn't) and called our local verizon phone store to see if they had extra ones. The guy told me that most people throw them away, which I'm sure Verizon encourages so that way your phone gets all crappy and junky with all that trash that got jammed up in your USB port....argh.

All in all, great phone and very stylish. Everyone I know that has a RAZR is quite impressed with my phone.
The good: I LOVE my Nokia-never had any problems with it and it is the 2nd one I have had. Good reception, good customer service
The bad: none
Summary: I LOVE my phone and will get another Nokia when I need a new phone.
The good: I love the look of this phone, it's cute. The color really stands out. And it's really easy to learn all the features on it.
The bad: The pictures don't come out as clear as I would hope they would, and the signal fades all the time no matter where I am.
Summary: The look of this phone is awesome, but as far as the quality of it.. It's not so great. If the signal wouldn't fade as much it would be a pretty good phone, but it will fade when I'm in an open area.
The good: Ease of use and to carry, Has lots of goodies and real nice to handle
The bad: Dial pad is a little small
Summary: Great Phone but not for people woth large fingers..Highly reccomend
The good: The only think I like is that it is cute and lightweight
The bad: Very hard to hear the person you are calling and when the phone rings
The signal is bad, I can barely make a call anywhere.
The screen get scatched very easy ( I have a cover for it)

Summary: I wish I would have bought a different phone, I think this has a few "bugs" still.
It is a cute phone, but I wish I would have shopped around first.
The good: Thin, slick design.
The bad: None
Summary: It is so thin, it fits everywhere, even in a woman's small evening purse. It is easy to use, even if you do not like dealing with manuals. The displays are clear and big, especially the internal display.
The good: no contracts
The bad: web is very slow and inconsistent
Summary: web is very slow and inconsistent. it takes a long time to open and times out often. a simple transaction often takes many attempts and many hours.they really need to improve on this.
The good: Bluetooth capability, FM Radio, Easily customizable
The bad: Sound quality isn't that good, camera is somewhat dull
Summary: Overall, I'd say Nokia did a good job in updating the 6102. The added Bluetooth capability is probably the best added feature on this phone. The user interface is also nice. The camera however is still a low quality one (doesn't reach megapixel range) and the sound quality isn't exactly the best either. Still, they work perfectly as they're supposed to and don't degrade usage in any considerable way. A small picky note, I think I liked the blue backlight on the numpad on the old 6102 better than this white backlight.
The good: My plan is affordable and I have good signal strength in most locations - that isn't always easy in the mountains.
The bad: Add on packages like text, pics, and Easy Edge quickly increase your monthly cost.
Summary: The overall quality and service is good; however, I would be much happier if US Cellular offered the add-ons as part of a regular package without such a huge increase in expense.
