Admittedly, I am a Windows Phone fanboy. I started with the Lumia 900, to the 920, and now this. The size definitely took a little getting used to, but now its all normal!
I love everything about it. The screen is clear and bright. The battery lasts WAY longer then my 920 did. I gave the form factor a 4 due to the fact, even in my hands (as a male) it's annoying sometimes. Definitely buy a case for this thing!
Other then that, the app store has done great and I have all the apps I want. Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, and plenty of games.
The picture quality is RIDICULOUSLY amazing, although they weigh in a 5mb's a picture so your definitely going to want to get a Micro SD card (Which is another HUGE bonus that it supports that). Other then that, I would most definitely recommend this phone!

The new update fixed some irritating problems.
I have had 2 net10 phones for 6 or 7 years. We have always had auto-pay therefore we always paid on time and were good customers. A few days ago, I noticed one of the phones said that I must add minutes by October or Service will end. I contacted CS and they told me to call from that phone and they will handle my problem. I called and eventually there was a click tone on my phone and the screen indicated paid up until February. The second phone is carried by my Senior Mother and Father and yesterday she went to call and the phone said it was deactivated and would not make any calls!!! They then accessed internet to contact CS and they told them they had to call CS and that they couldn't help any other way. The following Transcript is the actual correspondence.
transcript 1/6/14 at 4pm Hannah (Hannah is the CS Rep) has entered the session. (Rose is my Mother and Father) Rose: We tried
to use the phone today and it wouldn?t work. It said that we need to add
airtime by November 6, 2013 or our service will end. The phone has been
working through November and December. Our account is on auto-pay so
that should not be the problem. Hannah: Hi Rose. Thank You for visiting
NET10 Wireless. I would be happy to assist you today. Rose: Hi Hannah
Hannah: One moment please? Hannah: I am sorry to know that. Hannah: Let
me check your account first. Hannah: It shows that it is not enrolled in
the auto-pay option and the status is past due. Hannah: In order for us
to properly assist you in reactivating your phone, please contact one of
our customer care representatives at 1-877-836-2368. For your
convenience, our representatives are available Monday-Sunday from 8:00
AM to 11:45 PM EST. Thank you for chatting with NET10 Wireless. Rose:
How can I call? My phone isn?t working? Hannah: We would greatly
appreciate if you could find a way to contact us to further assist you.
Hannah: Have a great day. Rose: I rely on this phone for everything
Hannah: One moment please? Hannah: You can try to reactivate it online.
Visit www.net10.com and click on ?Activate? tab. Hannah: Goodbye. Rose:
Will that cost anything? Hannah: Yes, it will. In order to reactivate it
you have to purchase a service plan. Hannah: Have a wonderful day.
Hannah: has exited the session. You are the only user left in the
session. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I then sent the following email to NET10 CS......
EMAIL: I am very
upset how NET 10 Customer service is handling my concern. I DO HAVE AUTO
PAY AND I HAVE PAID FOR MY SERVICE AND I AM NOT GOING TO PAY MORE TO
REACTIVATE MY PHONE, THAT IS RIDICULOUS!!!
Today I called from my working phone to address the problem only to CS become so static ridden that I could not hear her at all..... I eventually called back and was able to hear the CS Rep who told me that she couldn't do anything as they were having problems with their system in house and that I needed to call back in 2 hours to resolve our problem.
The CS has treated us like nonpaying free loading people that owed them money..... even rude to the point that they repeatedly would just cut off the conversation and disconnected.
I have made up my mind that even though I have more than 7000 minutes on that phone that I am going to cancell out one of the phones and hopefully transfer over the minutes to the other phone..... with CS like this, I do NOT want my parents to have to put up with this kind of treatment! They are not big phone users, only for emergency's.... so when they need it, they NEED IT. I am still waiting for the 2 hours to pass in order to try to resolve this again. I will let you know what happens.

Try to watch movies woooow the screen is perfect
I would say this is the best phone ever. It's a top of the line phone and vary happy w it. I had the gs4 and upgrade to the note 3 vary happy
User for 2 months now. I was an iphone user for some time then switch to Galaxy S3. It was not hard to use android vs ios7 and I am 61. Iphone screen for my eyesight is just to small, so the Note 3 tempted me and I purchased it. I love how thin it is, but I ruin that with an otterbox case. Have to protect Iphone is perfect for my wife since she has small hands.
My problem is, when the phone rings, is it is very hard to get out of my pocket or jacket before they hang up or it goes to voice mail. To solve that issue, I usally lay it on my desk or lay it on the car console. Pain though when I am out shopping.
The phone has many features as you all know, I just have not found a reason to use them, not even the S-pen. I am not an exec or Lawyer nor do I work on Wall Street, which I am sure is amazing for them to use. Other then easier to see the screen, which again I love, it is a waste for the average user to own. The call quailty appears to be not as good on this phone as well for some reason.
I have determined that a phone the size of the Galaxy S4 is just about the perfect size. It fits in your pocket and has many features as well.
As far as the war between android users and iphone users, there is really not much difference using the two. Widgets, not many people I know use them anyway. I only use the one for weather and time.
I bought this phone with the AT&T next plan, so I think if Apple makes a device the same size as the Galaxy S3 or S4, I will switch back. I just feel like the OS7 is smoother to use.
Bottom line, if you need a phone for business the Note 3 is amazing but if you work in a different field or line of work and have pretty good eyesight, try the S-4 or other 4 or 4 7/8 size device out there.
HTC one looks and performs as well as it's described. I love my HTC one
We, my wife and I, have had Virgin Mobile for over 5 years with no problems. We upgrade our phones every 12 to 18 months. I resell them on ebay and usually get what I paid for them so the phones are actually free. It costs us $37.45 a month. The only problem we ever had was when my wifes phone would not hold a charge, they sent her a new battery even though it was out of warranty and she did not have their insurance. Virgin Mobile runs on the Sprint network.
5 plus years with no complaints.
My review will be a smidge different I purchased the global version as opposed to the AT&T version. The differences are subtle but noticeable the global has version has 32GB compared to 16 and has Qi wireless while At&T makes you buy a case to use their PMA charger. Now to the nitty gritty The display the screen is always clear neutral not overly saturated like samsungs' note 3 and doesn't really fade at certain angles like the nexus 5. This screen is beautiful. The processor is now officially on par with everyone else The Snapdragon 800 zips through everything without really choking and the 2 gigs of ram keep running smooth. The HSPA+ from AT&T works well on this phone granted its not lte but you can still watch you tube vids Netflix pretty good. The call quality is good the keyboard is nice too. (Sidebar: yes it is a Big Phone but you already knew that and yes it does fit in your pocket unless you're wearing skinny jeans.) Back to my review this phone's battery lasts all day the only real negative is that the app store is lacking. Hopefully by 2014 she'll have more apps. Oh before I forget the camera Hey its a Nokia so you know you'll get excellent pictures sure it isn't 41 megapixels but 20 will do you just fine. As of now I've only had the phone for 2 weeks but as I use it more I'll have more to say about it. That's all for now. Peace If you got questions on the Lumia. I goto wpcentral.com they have a vast resource of knowledge there.
First of all I am not a techy, I just use things and am happy someone else took on the task of making it work well, And Nokia did a splendid job. I gave this phone all fives except for the four on battery life. If I am just using it as a phone the battery will give me a good 24 hours. If I am playing games the battery drains fast, but then what phone doesn't do the same under the same circumstance's.
the screen is amazingly clear. I use the phone mostly for business so being able to view documents is important. Even when in bright daylight you can still see the screen very well. Which brings me to the point of windows 8 works very well on the Lumia 1520. The ability to store files on sky drive is a huge bonus for me. Windows gives you enough space to keep pictures on there also. The size of the phone is great for reading documents and you can edit easily with the word app. It took a little time to get used to the size of the 1520 but now I pick up someone else phone and wonder how they cope with such a small device, I will never down size.
I made the move from iPhone to the Lumia. 1520 due to the better ability for windows phones to be functional for my business. One thing I was concerned with was that windows didn't have as many apps. What I quickly found out was that I didn't need them. I didn't need an app for my banking or credit card because there website came up perfectly on the windows phone. Also, the Nokia 1520 is lightning fast in comparison. I suppose if I miss mustache and farting apps, I will go back to iphone. I am not attempting to show up apple, I had just waited a long time for them to bring on the business functionality of there devices, I just didn't see it happening.
there are many more features to mention that I am not thinking of right now. The voice controls work great, and really do work. Live tiles are awesome for apps like the calendar and weather. It sinks seamlessly with my surface pro. The 20 megapixel camera is outstanding and I love storyteller. Well, that's it, sorry I couldn't come up with many con's.
i have used this phone for 2 months now & i like the battery life & it has not froze & or needed to be restarted like my galaxy s4. i love the tap to unlock. however the lock button on the back is not ideal.
galaxy s4 has slim brilliant body, and a large display. its ability with air gesture and smart eye contacts gives me a better time with technology
