An amazing phone! Has a killer 4.8 inch super amoled display however brightness could be brighter and is hard to see outside. Wish it had a quad core processor but with jelly bean it runs amazing and very fluent and fast. Overall I love this phone!
I upgraded at the beginning of November to the S3 and really loved it but it started acting really strange. My calendar stuff would disappear, ring tone would change etc. Rather than worry over it, I took it back and got the GN2. Oh man, it rocks!!!! Great display. In landscape, you hardly ever have to adjust the screen all that much. Never have problems with fuzzy calls and no dropped calls at all. I like that they made the Note2 a tad more narrow, that really helps the design. My only real complaint is battery life. I know its awesome for android but I would love it if it was a lot more like my blackberries. I could go 2 or 3 days and not charge. But in my opinion, overall, Galaxy Note 2 rules!!!!
Totally Amazing Device ... The Best Android Phone Is Right Here !!!!
I am still tinkering with it and learning my way around jellybean but it is silky smooth. The large bright display is a joy to behold. The battery life was not as long as I expected but it may need to go through a full charge first. I will reserve judgement for now. I like the S Pen and I am very impressed with both the handwriting recognition and voice recognition with this phone.
I am well satisfied with the purchase.
great phone...build is top notch and battery life is not an issue. screen is amazing and 4.2 is as fast as advertised.
Coming from an iPhone 4s 16gb the memory didn't bother me. I wanted a bigger screen and a customizable os, ios is not that. I originally had my heart set on the note 2 but after holding the note 2 and trying it out in my pocket I decided it was going to be just a bit too big to have for the next two years. The DNA is much easier to handle and slides smoothly into any of my pockets and doesn't look like a small tablet on my face when on a call. The screen is beautiful. The one and only downside for me is the not so great battery. But it last long enough. I charge my phone every night, did that with the iPhone too. Could care less if my batter lasts two days. If I need more battery life I can buy a juice pack charger on the go deal and bam problem solved. Its a great phone especially if you watch video or listen to music. Yeah it sounds darn good.
Despite it's a big phone to hold but it got pretty nice features.
i love this phone. i have a white one and it is awesome how it integrates with my imac and ipad.
Simply put...Amazing! Love the design and build quality the display is one of the best out there battery life is great for some one like me who is not such a heavy phone user Facebook and some YouTube should get you threw the day with well over 70% left, all in all best Nokia phone on the market...now if this was a quad core phone man o man!!!!
This phone is by far the best phone I have ever had and I have had them all.
I am a phone junkie, I've had every nexus with the exception of the nexus one. I came to the android world since the G1 days. I've also had the galaxy s4g, the evo 4g, the galaxy s2, iphone 4s, and my latest before the nexus 4, the Galaxy s3 through T-mobile.
My first impression on the screen was that the colors did not display as good as the galaxy s3 super amoled screen. However, the text is extremely crisp, it reminds me of the retina display. If I don't have my gs3 around me, the colors and screen on the Nexus look amazing. Its when you start comparing that you see the contrast advantage on the gs3.
When making phone calls the people on the other side sound crisp and clear and I have not receive any negative feed back on how I sound on the other end. The loud speaker is good, yet not as loud as the Galaxy s3.
The battery life is good, BUT not great. I can barely make it through the day with my usage. It reminds me of my galaxy nexus battery, just a little better. It makes me miss the galaxy s3 battery life (s3 has to be my #1 phone with the best battery life)
The design on the Nexus 4 is amazing. It looks amazing and it feels amazing. It is the only way I can describe it. The camera (basing it of my gs3) is good, not excellent. I spent several hours playing with both cameras, and found that my gs3 took better pictures in low light *WHEN THE FLASH WAS ON* However, without the flash on, my nexus took better pictures with less noise on the images. During the day the Nexus took amazing pictures that will make the average consumer happy.
Finally, what makes me happy about the phone. it is the MOST FLUID android experience I have had. this is where it shines. My gs3 with jelly bean all the sudden seemed to stutter when browsing the browser or any other application. For example, the app Pulse is extra buttery on my nexus while on the s3 skips frames and doesn't give you the fluidity the nexus does. Moreover, the glass/screen on the nexus has a smooth feeling, your finger glides through the screen and does not attract that many finger prints. It is weird in a good way, It's something that has to be experience.
Fluidity combined with a good camera, amazingly crisp screen, stock android, and build quality that is great, is everything that I've been looking for in an Android phone, and the Nexus 4 accomplishes to distribute all those features evenly across the board.
Battery is great...Screen is fantastic and the quad core Exynos processor together with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean (also project butter) makes this device lightning fast!!! And the S Pen/content creation is super awesome!!!! Hands down the Android giant!!!
tmobile is very good... i dont know why people are saying its not good... i will be with them till the end of time they do what i need to its just if you dont know what your doing tmobile is bad... people tmobile is good not bad!
This is the best smartphone i have. The battery is very good. The display is amazing.
