The good: Nextel Direct Connect is the only service that works in the area in which my office is located. All other service providers don't have any kind of service at our location (Bayou Gauche, LA).
The bad: Nextel's phone service is just like all other providers when it comes to using your phone in this area, there is little to no service due to lack of towers in this area. There are times when you have full reception, but a few seconds later there is no reception at all.
Summary: Nextel would benefit from putting up a few towers in the South Louisiana region. Since Hurricanes Katrina & Rita the service has been somewhat testing to the patience. Their direct connect service usually works unless you are out in the local water ways, but the cellular service is horrible. There are way to many dead zones and interruptions in service.
The good: Stylish, good reception, durable, cool features...like a built-in flashlight, and it was cheap!!
The bad: My keypad got a little worn, but I talk too much so that might explain it!
Summary: This was my first cell phone ever and it was so much fun! It was easy to use, the tools came in handy, and it was durable...which is a big plus for me because I'm a klutz! I dropped this phone at least 30 times and it didn't get a scratch, and it still worked great!
The good: Simple to use - my 9 year old daughter has no problem with it at all. Long battery life too.
The bad: Limited ringtones, pre-paid therefore minutes fairly expensive
Summary: This is a small, convenient, very easy to use little phone. My child enjoys using it, and can access all of the phone's features easily. Since it's her first cell phone, she doesn't mind the lack of sophisticated ringtones.
The good: Long-lasting battery, good reception, fun ringtones and features!
The bad: Can't download wallpapers, can only use pre-installed ones :(
Summary: I have had this phone for over a year and a half and it still works like new! I love this phone and I have had no problems with whatsoever! Since I'm only 21 ringtones are a big feature to me...this phone has the coolest ringtones to download! I just wish I could add my own wallpapers! But that's not a big deal for most people! This phone is definitely worth the money!
The good: ease of use
The bad: battery life
Summary: The v300 is a good phone for the basic cell user. nice size and features such as camera, speaker phone, and color screen.
The good: Easy to use - very durable
The bad: Numbers wear off , hard to read.
Summary: This phone has been very good to me for the price I paid for it. I've had it for about two years now and the only problem was when the numbers wore off making it difficult to read.
The good: Very ideal for on the run. Ideal for taking trips and having 4 children, in case of an emergency.
The bad: My button sticks and I can't turn on the phone in a hurry.
Summary: A am really not satisfied with this phone. THe top button sticks and when I need to turn on my phone in a hurry, I can't. I have to pry it out. I really don't know how to work the voice mail either.
The good: Easy use, good quality,
The bad: none that I have found
Summary: This is one of the better phones I have used since first getting a cell phone. The battery has a long life and it is easy to use. I have had it since February and liked it so much I even got my Mother one..she loves it too.
The good: It is relatively a good plan with enough minutes for my use and my husband's use.
The bad: Not enough towers in the area make it difficult to get a good signal the closer I get to home. It is a small rural area with lots of hills, but I travel everyday to South Dakota to work and it works on about 1/2 the trip. I do like having it when I travel to Omaha to visit my daughter.
Summary: It is probably about as good as any other plan out there, it's just there aren't enough towers to keep a constant signal. I guess you have to take the good with the bad of living in a rural setting.
The good: lots of toys included
The bad: bad camera and camera button can be turned on accidentlly
Summary: I like the size of this phone and most of the extras that were included. The Sony Erissson Z520a is a pretty nice phone, good sound, lots of ringtones included and some games to keep you occupied. The only downfall I have found is the camera it takes lousy pictures and video though the sound is pretty good. Overall it's a pretty good phone.
The good: Sturdy yet stylish
The bad: Short battery life.
Summary: This is best cell phone to date. Samsung phones are my phones of choice after all my other phones, Lg and Motorola.
Recommend this phobne. I have four of these identical phones that are used daily for employees.
The good: Easy to use, good reception, and many wonderful options. The camera has wonderful quality and has settings that allow for many different effects.
The bad: Music playing and downloading is confusing and extremely hard to do.
Summary: Overall, the SCH-50 is one of the best phones that I know of. It is comprised of many features that make use extremely easy and carefree. The calender, alarm clock, calculator, camera, and many other features are amazing to use and are easy at that. This Phone Is Awesome!!!
The good: looks, flip open, mp3 player, good signal, bright screen and expandable memory
The bad: Cannot reject a call without opening it. The memory sometimes goes blank.
Summary: It is good phone for the price but it blacks out. It comes with a free 64 Mb micro SD which provides very little space. So the MP3 player is practically useless.
The constraint to accept every call is another weakness.
But it catches even weak signals
The good: Kiosks and offices everywhere
Decent reception in most places
Better website now that they redid it
The bad: Poor customer service
Limited number of plans
Summary: Like all cell phone service providers, they have terrible customer service. I only had one experience talking with a rep where the person was really good. Normally they sound like they couldn't care less and make a lot of mistakes. My service coverage seems to be pretty comprehensive though. Recently moved and reception there is poor, but otherwise it has been good. I wish they had more plans for me to choose from though. Decent value overall.
The good: Easy to use and navigate
Caller ID
Great display screen
Easy to program
Internet capable
Camera phone and video
Long battery life on standby
The bad: camera resolution poor
limited ring tones
where you plug your charger in gets worn out, I have to fiddle around with it for like 5 minutes before I can get it to start charging. Then you better make sure you don't bump it or it will disconnect.
Summary: Overall this phone is pretty good for someone who uses their phone every once in a while. This phone has a nice caller ID function on the front of the flip phone. The one thing I wish is you could make it to where you could flip the phone open without answering the call. This cannot be done as per customer service. The number of ring tones on this phone is very limited out of the box. Also, after connecting and disconnecting the charger for the phone for about a year, the connection on the phone started to wear out. Very sensitive and does not always keep a connection to charge.
The good: It is not bad for a free phone. It isn't bulky and it doesn't have any big flaws.
The bad: Sometimes, but rarely, it will be hard to turn it on or it will be on and then it quickly turns itself off and turn back on again. Someone else who owns the same phone as me has a problem with their screen. The color is really dull, even though he tried to fix it. However, mine hasn't had that problem.
Summary: It is definately a good choice if you don't want to pay much for a phone. It's pretty simple and basic flip phone.
The good: The phone is a very nice phone has camera and all that would really great if I could use my phone!!
The bad: Ir never picks up any service!
Summary: I never have any service in my local area and I'm paying a lot of money for my cell phone every month. I thought mabye with a booster that it would help with my problem and that way im not walking around in circles or almost hanging my head out the car window trying to get a call in. I'd hate it if I really needed to make an important call and I broke down or something because my calls always drop or just dont ever work!!
The good: slim and compact big screen
The bad: buttons are too close together and flat
Summary: Razor is nice and compact able to carry in back pocket. Big color screen, but buttons are too close together and flat which makes it a little harder to dial a number without pushing the next number by mistake.
The good: No dropped calls
The bad: none
Summary: I have used others in the past and nothing is better then U.S Cellular
The good: Easy use.
The bad: My battery doesn't last that long. About 1 hour conversation until I have to charge again.
Summary: I like this phone. It is easy to use.Can make the display letters and numbers really big or normal size.I can recieve pics.I have the GPS and text and email and get access the web.
