The good: Nations largest network. Coverage, rollover, reliable. No dropped calls. Selection of phones. Iphone. I may benefit more since I do live in a slighty more populated area, so I am never without service as opposed to customers that live in more rural areas.
The bad: Customer Service I have to admit could use an upgrade. It seems that some reps could be more knowlegable. I feel this could be an influence of the rapid increase in customer growth and finding enough customer service reps is hard because the customer base is growing so fast and its hard to keep up with. higher rate plan prices.
Summary: Its funny that there are so many bad reviews on here for new at&t. I am thinking that since we are the nations largest network that we would assuming have more bad reviews that say a smaller company because we are drawing from a much larger customer base. these 20 something bad reviews represent like .00000004 of at&t customers.

I ve never had a dropped call, whiles others on here state the opposite. I feel this might be due to location because I ve never had problem with service and seem to be the only one with signal when others would not. I noticed that the bad reviews written on here are due to customers who have had very bad experiences with us, whiles the others that have a good experience dont bother wasting there time because I believe that At&t's services speaks for itself. And about the rollover minutes. Yes they do expire, but that is after a full calendar year. If at anytime you use all of the minutes in your current monthly plan.....the first rollover minutes that would be used would be the first mintues from the first month that you accumulated them from. If you dont use them at all, when would you ever use them? They are always accumulating. Also if it is so much of a hassle, you could always call into customer service and demand them that you keep your rollover mintues when switching to another plan. Problem is that people dont ask until its to late.

Maybe I feel this way about at&t because I ve never had another cell phone provider. So far, so good. Even with slighter higher prices, seems like at&t is doing quite well. O and the iphone is amazing and apple chose at&t for a reason. Its crazy to think that people would pay their cancellation fees with their companies to purchase an iphone for another $600 dollars when it first came out.
The good: -I like that I can get bill info and pay online, over the phone, thru text messages and snail mail. Even when I'm away from a computer I can make my payments on time.
- I have good coverage, even when traveling.
- decent phone selection
- good customer service thru 1-800 number

The bad: - can't get my picture texts in other areas
- verizon has a character limit on text messages to other providers. I have to send 2 seperate messages manually.
- would like more choices in the plans.
Summary: I have been a Verizon customer for at least 3 years and I have had very few problems. I regularly travel all over the U.S. and I always have a better signal than my co-worker with a different cell phone provider. Sometimes, when I'm in the middle of nowhere I don't have a signal, but that will happen with any provider. Any problems I've had with billing or services have been resolved quickly thru the 1-800 number. Customer service in the stores can be tricky, but I'm usually satisfied. I make it a point to only go to the store during the slow times. I recommend Verizon to others. I just wish they offered a plan with less minutes than I have, but more than the next step down.
The good: Single handed use on everything. To close a program just press the "end call" button. To make a call any where just press the "call" button. To open a program press the start button or hold it and talk to the phone. The voice recognition works right away. There was no train needed.
I very rarely use the styles. There is no need to.
The double keypad works will. Its like having a numeric keypad. When using the keyboard. Instead of changing it to numeric just the front keypad with the thum
The bad: Would of liked a higher resolution camera, but do not use it to worry about it. The slide out keyboard is a little to easy to slide out. When removing from my sideways holster. If it was harder there be complaints about it also, tho.
Summary: For the price it a very good smart phone. With the combination of Bluetooth Stereo, Wi-Fi, and qwerty keyboard.
The good: 1.)great for texting/internet browsing. (i will never own another phone without a full keyboard)
2.)touch screen makes web browsing extremely simple
3.)slot for external SD allows for more memory than you will ever need
The bad: 1.)difficult to use for the first week.
2.)stylist pens are very easy to loose and expensive to replace.
Summary: great phone for the price. hopefully T-mobile will come out with a new touch interface that doesn't use a stylist pen.
The good: Great picture quality, records videos nice too. Easy to use! Overall just well put together.
The bad: The only real problem I have with it is not being able to set a sound as a ringtone, the only way you can is if you send it to yourself as a message then save it as a ringtone, but oh well. Other than that the battery life seems a little low before needing a recharge.
Summary: Nice pics, nice sound, nice design and easy to use. Overall I like this phone quite a bit it has some nice functions to it and only a couple insignificant flaws.
The good: Durable, unique design, easy to use
The bad: basic, no bluetooth, no camera, short battery life, hinge is a little loose
Summary: This phone is a good phone, but don't expect the whole fancy features you would find on other phones. If you want a phone to talk and text, this is the perfect phone for you, but get a higher up phone if you want to do pics and multimedia and bluetooth. Also, the battery life is very short, so dont talk very long. I get about 1.5 to 2 hours talk time before i'm in the red, so not for the avid talker.
The good: This phone was a very easy to use phone and I enjoyed the slim and light weight feature.
The bad: The battery would not hold a charge shortly after a year and, of course, was out of warranty and I had to buy a new phone.
Summary: I was very please with the phone until the battery would not hold a charge. I purchased a new battery and that was not the problem so it has to do with the charger port. I would not recommend this phone as I expect to use a phone longer than a year when you pay that much money for it.
The good: Slim, Light, easy to use and screen is easy to see, stereo speakers
The bad: Audio quality a little "bassy" or deep. 1.3 mg pix camer, other models have a 2 mg pix
Summary: I have only had it a few days but it sems good. Not as flashy as others but nice. The other reviewer said the front case screen would not display the time. I thought that at first but read the manual and found you hold down the outside buttons for a few seconds and the outside display comes on. You can also play music from the front case. Reading the manual helped resolve any problems I had with the phone. Most phones have small screens and are hard to see sometimes. This phone is similar but the screen is contrasty and works for me. Most of the phones I looked at had similar functionality. We liked the next model up in the Samsoung line (same software but a 2 mg pix camera) but it had tiny keys. Overall this phone had more of what I wanted. My wife and I got these on a two for 1 deal. We are very happy. TIP Don't buy you accessories at Verizon. Walmart has a better deal on chargers etc.
The good: Pretty much everything.
The bad: None.
Summary: Most people write reviews when something bad happens or they are unhappy with something, but no one hardly ever writes about companies when they are pleased with their service. After reading these reviews, I would like to say that I love sprint. I've never had a problem with them. I get great service and can do just about anything with my phone. If I'm out with friends, and they want to know baseball or football scores, I can look them up very easily and quickly. I can check my eBay bids, send and receive pictures, look up the weather and traffic, etc. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg for the services I have and I love sprint.
They care about me as a customer. They treat me with respect and I can tell they want to keep me as a customer. They also have the best network in Chicago.
The good: Bright screen, cool look, cool touch screen music abilities, comes in red which is awesome, and for all of it's abilities its pretty cheap.
The bad: No USB cabe in the box but seriously you probably have one laying around your house.
Summary: I love it!! It was the perfect phone for me!!! Great camera, video, video share, it has aim and you can check your emails, it has internet, news, mp3 player, txt, everything!!! What isn't there to love. People may say that it has slippery controls but it rally doesnt anless you are like blind and need to feel the keys (no offence blind people, not that your'e reading this!!!) This is a great starter phone for people who are looking for a really good, cool, useable phone that doesn't cost a fortune and isn't too fancy.
The good: thin, loud mp3 playback when not using the muic player, good camera, nice customization fetures.nice battery life, blackbeey style keypad
The bad: while playing music on the music player the volume isnt as loud as it would be if you played it straight off your memory card, battery seems to drain quicker while using instant messanger,no flash on camera, keypad seems to only register one action when you press it twice fast.
Summary: So far i gotta say the samsung blast is a awsome phone it does everything i would want a cell phone to do if you have a converter that can conver videos into 3pg format then you can put your own videos onto the phone. there were some small thisng that bugged me like the lower sound when usung the music player,no flash, and the responsivness on the keypad but besides that i love the phone and would definatly recomend it
The good: Double keyboard...closed version all general uses are available one handed. Screen is very bright. Long battery life.
The bad: Slider seems easy to activate but I came from a XV6700...no comparison!!!! No SEIDIO cases yet!!!
Summary: Overall the best PDA I've owned!!! Its faster smarter, smaller and easy to use. I usually am an internet/phone user so my activities are limited but the little device does exactly what I need. The battery life on the extended battery keeps me happy for days not just hours. No need for a car charger yet and when I do I'll order another extended battery. Good Job SAMSUNG.
The good: 1. Stylus may be used, but thumb has easy access to everything. Huge advantage when only one hand available.

2. Other reviewer here seems to think the redundant keypad is a negative. Too bad he doesn't get the intent. It is an ingenious advantage. You just dial it and the phone is instantly activated. No stylus needed at all for making calls.

3.Other reviewer also complained about not being able to drive or walk with it. That's pretty much all I do - through Bluetooth headphone or
The bad: 1. USB cord does not charge the battery (Audiovox models do).

2. Curiously small RAM as with all other similar devices. Don't get why they give us less than 60M when 2Gig can be made so small. Most 3rd party programs require use of RAM to run so we can't put more than a couple of them on the machine (unless I'm missing something).
Summary: I have already recommended the device to two good friends.
The good: Consistent bill each month and talk all you want
The bad: sometimes your calls drop all too often, and if you go to ntelos store to pay your bill...you'll be there for 4ever
Summary: I have the unlimited pre-paid plan where I get unlimited calls (whenever)! This is good for someone whos constantly on the go or who talks alot. I love that my bill is the same every month...$80 thanks! and yes that includes text msgs. The only thing someone may have issues with is you have to have extra money on your account to get ringtones etc...but it is a pre-paid phone so that makes sense. When I first got my phone I dropped alot of calls and I hated it...but everthing is good now. My main complaint is going in the store to pay my bill!! They are always pack and you have to sign a sign-in sheet. They do not have a bill pay machine like other carriers. Time to upgrade!!!
The good: Style, Style, and Style! Unique design that you will either love or hate (most will probably fall into the former). Solid build quality.
The bad: Unless you buy a case, screen will be easily scratched/damaged. Sound volume on the low side. Battery life stinks.
Summary: The main selling point of the Samsung T629 is its style. Very few phones on the market right now can compare to this look. It IS a head-turner. In the end though, people will keep a phone for performance and I'm not sure if the Samsung 629 will win many longtime fans. I had T-Mobile send two units one after another, but they still ended up with the similar problem of low sound volume, even with the level turned all the way up. My old trusty Motorola V557 blew this Samsung unit out of the water when compared for sound volume and reception. When the Samsung is locked onto a good signal, clarity can be stunning, but the T-Mobile coverage sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. Dropped calls also seem to have increased since I switched from Cingular/AT&T. You know those ads from AT&T touting "More Bars In More Places"? It's TRUE! In the end, I am still returning both Samsung 629's because of low sound volume. I also prefer a flip design even though I was intrigued by the slider design. The flip design will prove to be practical in the long run by protecting the screen from scratches. Battery life is also a shortfall here. Even with moderate use (1 to 1.5 hours a day), you will find yourself reaching for the charger at least once every 2 days. If you're not a fan of charging cells on a daily basis (and I definitely am NOT), I suggest you stay away from this phone. If you start using this for text msg / mp3 / camera / video, you will definitely be reaching for the charger on a daily basis. The T-Mobile rep admitted the Samsung's big screen sucks up a lot of battery life. I am going back to a Motorola (but NOT a Razr!) where I had better overall experience.
The good: loud music player
big screen
cool color
able to use it open or closed.
The bad: hard to use touch screen
slider feels like it is going to break
just a very delicate phone
Summary: Dont be fooled by the name "cherry chocolate"-this phone is not as sweet as it sounds.
The phone looks good ill tell you that much. The slider adds style to the phone as well as the large screen and the cool red cherry color just tops it off. Another good thing about this phone is you can use it either slid open, or shut. To use it shut, there is a lock feature since the phone has a touch screen on the outside. It is easy to unlock, simply press the outside buttons on the side of the phone either once or twice (depending on your settings). The last good thing about this phone is the music player. It has loud speakers. The music player is also easy to use. However, this phone has some bad features. When you slide the phone open, it almost feels like the top part is going to slide completely off. You could the say the phone is "delicate". Also, the top of the phone under the screen is a touch screen which i find extremely hard to control despite the setting changes you can make with the sensitivity. It is hard to manage with the touch screen because it is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I reccomend not getting the phone and getting a different phone even if it does cost more money. I would have bought a different phone if I knew just how bad the quality of this phone is.
The good: Great for e-mail, text and web.
The bad: Tough to use as a phone.
Summary: The slide out key pad works great for banging out e-mail and text messages. The horizontal orientation is also good for the web browser. Unfortunatley, the device is lacking in it's primary use as a phone. You have to push at least two buttons to get into phone mode, and then navigate from there. The on screen phone pad is redundant with the built in unit as well. During several calls, the touch screen became active and opened up several applications which when open, prevent you from using the phone funtions. You have to use the stylus for almost all onscreen functions, which is also a pain if you are just trying to make a call. Forget about using this thing if you are driving (or walking). I will be returning this for either a Blackberry pearl, or the Voyager (when it comes out).
The good: Great design
The bad: Flawed model
Summary: I loved this phone except for the fact that it stoped working a few months after purchase. Had it replaced twice under warranty and both times the brand new phone just stopped working randomly on its own. Screen goes white and after a few days goes black and is non responsive. AT&T/Cingular stores did not take it back and it had to be exchanged online. As a matter of fact a store rep told me that this model is known to have problems and that is the reason it is only sold online. Do not get this phone, it will break too soon too sudden.
The good: The cheapest unlimited service of any carrier. Some other carriers don't even offer unlimited service.
The bad: They nickel and dime you for things that used to be free. Like the incoming text messages. 1st minute of an incoming call free. And other services all gone.
Summary: I live in the city of Richmond and I get good service 95% of the time. I've been a customer for about 10 years and the company is taking away more and more of the services from it's customers that have been loyal for years. They never (hardly ever) advise or alert you to a change that is to your benefit. It is your responsibility to ask about new services or changes. The $.01, $.99 or $20 phone deal is only for new customers. Too bad if you're already a customer and a better deal on a phone comes along. If you want the better phone or deal, you have to sign a new longer contract. Most likely a 2 year deal or pay the outrageously high prices they and other carriers charge for the phones. If you really want or need the new phone those are your chooses. Their people on the phones are very nice and try to help you. I know they can only do what the company allows them too. When the company 1st started providing service, they were the best around. Even though the service area was limited. But as they started getting bigger the service started becoming less customer friendly. But what is new about that, that's the way business is done in America. Get bigger, charge more and give less service. The American way.
