The good: great call quality and clear, really good all around phone
The bad: none really
Summary: I have a razr v3 right now, and love it.I have had many cell phones in my life, but i would have to say, that this is still number one,I used this phone to call many places in the country from new york to california, and also used it in spain and france,no problem. Its a very good phone.
The good: It's cheap it has new deals, and new phones
The bad: not much service, not many phones
Summary: I would advice people in the southern western civilization to get this carrier because it is not all that bad, because they charge me total 200 flat for cell phones(3), home phone(unlimited calls), direct TV, and High speed broadband internet.
The good: Excellent package and options. Easy to use. Very user friendly
The bad: Battery life only fair. Speaker phone not great
Summary: I am a Financial Director and was looking for a phone to use for work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. This phone has proven to be a winner for me. I love the main screen which shows me calendar events, messages, and weather instantly. I also love the cube options with my favorite phone #'s with picture capability of the person I need to call. The camera is very good at 2 megpixal. If there is any down side to the phone that I have found it might be the speaker phone. I have used it twice in the office and it cut out and in with static. It could be the office building I am not sure but the ear piece had not static. Also the battery has not lasted to my expectations when the phone is used considerably during the day. It will still certainly last a full day or more but not what I was expecting. All in all I love this phone. I was debating between this and the Blackberry Curve. I stayed away from the Blackberry because of no Office, Messenger, Word, Excel, and Outlook. I highly recommend this phone to anyone. You will love it. The 400hz processor is adequate.
The good: Hardware is great, and has lots of features
The bad: 1. When the battery dies, it factory resets, and you LOSE ALL YOUR DATA!!!
2. Maximum audio volume is equivalent to Nokia's minimum volume.
Summary: I would not buy HP again due to the fact they do not resolve problems with devices they have already created, nor is there any support for software upgrades to the newer OS's which the device is more than capable of handling, and when they ship a replacement, it comes with the same defects, which HP's Quality Assurance team regards as "features".
The good: The phone is very stylish, small, and loud ring tones
The bad: The middle buttons fall off which makes the phone look very cheap, also the battery and charger are not very good quality
Summary: Over all this is a great phone scratch that perfect phone for about the first 4 mths then things start to go wrong, charger goes bad, then battery, and of course by this time the middle buttons have fallen off. I would not recomend you spend your money on this phone unless you have money to waste!!!!
The good: Slick design slim kinda big big buttons big screen
The bad: Breaks really easily! My LCD/the front screen broke only two weeks after i bought it!!! the voice record doesn't work and hasn't worked since i got the phone!!! buttons are wearing off!!! wouldn't spend my money on a phone like this!!!! the battery life is very poor and does not charge fast at all when it is turned on!!!
Summary: My LCD/the front screen broke only two weeks after i bought it! The voice record doesn't work and hasn't worked since i got the phone!!! buttons are wearing off!!! wouldn't spend my money on a phone like this!!!! kool/ popular if you have to take really good care of this phone!!! you will have to probobly charge this phone every night!
The good: Extremely durable
The bad: Not good-looking (too bulky), Short videos
Summary: This phone works better then expected considering the amount of times it has been dropped. Unfortunately it is very bulky so it does not look good. The camcorder pretty much sucks because the videos have to be so short. I'm not upset it got discontinued- you can get a much better phone.
The good: Great coverage, good deals on phones, great customer service and online help
The bad: sometimes expensive, some plans could use improvement
Summary: AT&T is the probably greatest wireless provider out there. I switched from T-mobile to Cingular about three years ago and have not had any problems with it so far. In some areas out in the country the signal is lost at certain places but that's the same with all carriers. Now that AT&T and Cingular have merged there is even more to expect from the company in the future. This company just keeps growing and now provides television and internet services as well. And good deals are available for joint plans.
The good: Awesome keypad, good battery
The bad: Well, the phone gets scratched easily and horrible memory, and guess what..... NO BLUETOOTH!! you canonly eceive songs by message! But when you do receive a song you hear it all blurry and can not understand what you just received. Also the buttons in the outside DO NOT WORK! I try calling a friend and the phone just won't le me. I am sick and tired of this phone and do not have enough money to buy a new one. SAVE YOURSELVES! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!
Summary: I have had this phone for about a year already and i hate it! Bluetooth is horrible and the phone is just too big and bulky. Pictures will come out wide when you open the phone, but if you take a picture with the phone closed, the picture will come out small and not good. Oh yeah, you can't talk on the phone while its charging. And sometimes, the phone changes your ringtone to a song that you recently heard. I'm doing this to help you. Don't Buy It!!!
The good: Full keyboard, great outside keypad design, much nicer looking.
The bad: A little bit wide...
Summary: Although the enV2 seems to be getting a bad rep as nothing more than a cosmetically improved version of the original enV, I see no harm in the change.

The last enV model was clunky and completely ugly. I just picked up my new enV2 from Circuit City today for about 86 bucks thanks to the update my line was eligible for at Verizon, and I get a $50 mail-in rebate on top of that.

I'd say the best improvement on the phone other than the overall shape is that fact that the outside buttons are much larger. I have no problem typing in a phone number to make a call and the smaller screen on the outside is really no hindrance at all; considering all you need to do for a bigger view is flip the phone open I find it interesting that some reviewers consider the outside screen a con. It's not like the phone's predecessor had a large external screen in the first place, and the larger buttons are so much easier to use than the ones on the original enV.

On top of the overall improvement in design the phone does have some added features such as a couple new ringtones and a few new menu displays to chose from which are all much nicer looking than those on the original enV.

I'd also like to add the the camera on this phone is pretty impressive. Some sites have coined the picture quality as merely "decent," but what do people expect from a tiny 2 megapixel camera feature sqeezed into a cell phone? If you're looking for high-quality, buy a digital camera.

My only two slight criticisms of the phone are the placement of the camera lens and the width of the phone. The lens is placed at the top of the phone which is a bit of a problem since when holding the phone lengthways to take a picture, my finger always settles itself comfortably over the lens, so it's a little akward to get used to holding at first without blocking your shot.

Also, while the phone while thinner than my old chocolate phone depth-wise, it is much wider across the front. I never liked the Razrs due to their width, and since I have small hands this phone is a little weird to hold after owning a thin little Krazr for about a year and a half; however, it's a small price to pay for the fabulous full keyboard that the width accommodates.

Overall I am VERY pleased with this phone. I skipped out on the highly visually appealing Venus phone because I don't feel that touch-screens are reliable on a long term basis. After the Chocolate I would never make that mistake again. I'd say that for those who text on a regular basis, the enV is probably the best phone Verizon offers within it's price range, and I would most certainly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing it.

The good: 1. Best mobile broadband for rural and remote areas.
The bad: 1. After 4 months of use, it is weakening the USB port (sloppy fit)
2. Horizontal position only, protrudes excessively.
Summary: Broadband provider : Bell mobility
Could be improved if a vertical position were available.
The good: Small,
Sleek,
Light,
High Res,
Outstanding Voice Clarity,
High Res 2.0 MP Camera,
Long Battery Life,
Large Internal Memory,
The bad: External Screen does not have as much functionality as the original enV

Summary: This is all around one of the best new phones out at this time, as well as any phone LG has made. It is everything the original enV was, without the huge brick of a phone! It is waaaay slimmer, sleek, and more stylish than the original enV. It has a bigger internal screen than the original and has the classic LG craftsmanship. The only flaw I could find is that the smaller external LCD screen is not as functional as the original enV's had. You can only text up to one page and make calls, and acess music. Anything else has to be done with the flip opened up. This is not much of a problem as anything you would need to do in a quick second is available to do on the external screen. Great phone LG
The good: Amall, light weight, compact, LOUD ring, excellent cqll quality & sound
The bad: Only touch screen, hard to use when texting
Summary: Seems to be a good phone. Call quality is amazing, ring tone can be VERY loud which I like. It is hard to get used to the touch only screen but I am trying to adjust. Windows on it is amazing and much easier to set uo than I expected (email). Phone is really user friendly which surprised me. Screen's brightness is adjustable you just have to look for it in settings. It is bright enough to be viewed outside.
ringer is loud, call sound is loud and screen print is large.
The phone is compact but slick - I would recommend a skin of some kind.
So far (1 week) I say thumbs up!
I have had this phone going on two years now and I must say that I love it, it is actually really durable I have dropped it many times and it still works perfect while all my friends have to replace their phones every couple of months mine still works great,., definetly recommend.
The good: It can sync with Lotus Notes!!! Our IT department helped me set it up.
The bad: If you like to type alot this is not a phone you would want. Since I keep most of my stuff on the computer at work this was not an issue for me.
Summary: I am now a true fan of the smart phones. I was looking for a better calendar option than the basic calendar because of my busy schedule. This phone was perfect to link with Lotus Notes!!! I am the type of person that uses my Lotus Notes calendar religously but I couldn't cary it with me because I was not on Lotus at home. The PN-820 was one of the best investments I have made.
The good: Cheap unlimited service
good family plan(new)
The bad: Limited calling area(but you can upgrade the account for roaming)
no "free" phone offers, or cheap like virgin mobile has.(who cares though?)
Summary: Best service if you don't travel too much, great prices.
The good: Its great for texting, durable i have dropped so many times in so many different places,
The bad: Where to start...it restarts like it's a computer, you can't talk while it is charging, sometimes you have to adjust the charger in order for it to charge, it switches to roaming for no reason, kind of bulky
Summary: This is a good phone for texting other than that it is ok. It is small, yet bulky and the battery can go bad pretty quickly.I carry my charger in my purse when I go out sometimes.
The good: International Capability, Reception, no unexpected extended contracts!
The bad: Not all areas had the fast 3G coverage
Summary: Ive had at&t when they first started off with Cingular, Ive never had a problem with customer service helping me out. They gave great deals on phones and always try to do their best to help me out with something im not understanding or with new cellphones coming out. What ive come to find though is that authorized dealers are alittl bit too snobby and at corporate stores they know much more and helped me out alot faster and more efficiently! at&t will ALWAYS be my carrier!
The good: I like how the phone is small, compact and lightweight. I also like the front screen
The bad: Text Message issues, Screen flashes, turns on/off on its own, sound quality/issues.
Summary: My mother, brother-in-law and I all have the same phone and even their phones are not in the best of quality. I recommend getting a different phone.
The good: Battery life is outstanding, sound quality, reception and size.
The bad: People thinking it's something it's not.
Summary: I've had my w385 for 6 months now and it still strikes me as an amazing deal for people who use their phones for one thing, a phone. I can't comment on texting ~ I've never done it. Same for the camera, the lenses is covered by my phone cover. What I can comment on is that this phone STILL goes for a week plus between charges (best was 13 days when new). Obviously, you need to condition a battery to get the best use from it.

The sound quality is FAR superior to that of any other phone I've used.. at least until you use wired headsets (never owned or used bluetooth anything, so no comment there). I bought the Motorolla wired headset for this phone and tossed it in a drawer, never to be seen again. The thing was worthless.... but that's fine, it was just one more thing to try and take care of and I certainly don't miss it.

The keys have a fantastic tactile feel to them, again much better than the other phones I've been subjected to.

The display is quite a bit below the "average" of other phones out there, but it displays the numbers I'm dialing just fine and that's all I use it for.

Out here in Wyoming we get some poor cell coverage. Where my previous phones would be at a loss for signal (and the backup phone still is), the W385 just keeps hanging on. I'm constantly amazed at just where I'm able to find signal with this phone.

And finally, the durability. My phone lives in a pants pocket through rough environments (I'm constantly under a building, or tossing screws/nails/tools in the pocket with the phone and climbing a ladder, etc...), environments that have caused the death and mutilation of a large number of other phones. This was bad enough that I almost chose the Casio GZone, but I didn't want a brick in my pocket. This phone is very well built, handles abuse better than most and still looks fairly good at the end of it all.

If you want just a PHONE, then you'd be hard pressed to do better than the W385. If you need a toy to play with, then it's going to be a disappointment.
