The good: Very cheap. Great national coverage. Roaming is a pleasure.
The bad: Customer service can be difficult. Plain phones.
Summary: At $7 a month this is still the cheapest way to own a phone in the States. When you get excellent coverage and enough minutes (for occasional users) then your $7 buys you a lot of value. I own a smartphone on one of the major carriers and keep a Tracfone for emergencies and I've used the Tracfone more than once in places where my smartphone does not have any bars.
The good: Great value for money with low call rates & excellent network. Reliable. Free minutes and airtime on purchase of phone.
The bad: Basic handsets. Not ideal for data use.
Summary: If you're not looking for a smartphone and you want to save on your cell expenses then this low-cost carrier is your answer. Others might advertise comparable prices but NET10 provides a quality, nationwide service unequalled by the other prepaid carriers. Hnadsets are of the basic, limited feature variety so don't expect too much.
Recommended!
The good: New phones, sleek look, the phone plans, no contracts
The bad: Not the best service, but it works as long as you don't live in the mountains. In most of California where most people travel/live, it works; full bars, etc. Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fresno.the major cities, it works.
Summary: I've had Virgin Mobile before and recently decided to go back after having been locked in by AT&T for 2 years and then trying to manage with Net10/Tracfone prepaid service. While the Tracfone/Net10 plans work for those who don't talk or text frequently, it's not the best plan for avid users. I tried looking at different carriers that offered low cost plans and it was narrowed down to Cricket Wireless until I remembered Virgin Mobile. I checked out their website and found out that there was a $25 beyond talk plan (unlimited text & data, 300 talk minutes). I checked out the phones and bought the Rumor Touch. Probably one of the best phones I've had in a while. Even though Virgin Mobile is one of the high-end prepaid carriers, it's still a prepaid carrier and most prepaid carriers usually have low-end phones. I was pretty stoked that the 4 premier phones they offered were quality-made. They even offered a Blackberry Curve. One would never guess that these phones were prepaid. I'm digging my new service, my new carrier, & my new phone and haven't had any complaints yet. I recommend switching over, it's worth a try. I'm getting my whole family to switch to Virgin Mobile. It beats the major carriers' prices any day. Unlimited text & data and 300 talk minutes. For $15 more, you get an additional 900 minutes, totaling 1200 minutes for $40. What more could you ask for?
The good: -good keyboard size and spacing
-touch dialing
-good picture quality

The bad: -sometimes texting keys don't react when pressed
-battery life
-pictures don't load fast
-slow web browser
-turns on and off all the time

Summary: I've had my LG Neon for about a year and a half... it's a decent phone. really good for texting, and i text ALL the time. the keyboard is a good size, and there is enough space between the keys where your not hitting keys you don't mean to all the time. it has a micro SD card slot which if you get one it can hold waaay more pictures than the phone itself... the only problem with that is that when you go to look through your pictures it seems like it takes them forever to load. and it doesnt have where you can type in the name of a picture, you have to scroll through all of them, and that takes a while. which sometimes can be a pain. my neon is constantly turning on and off... my sister in law also has the same problem with her neon. but if you can look past those problems, it's a pretty good phone.
The good: Great value for money! Low call rates (nationally AND internationally) with zero hidden fees like those 'daily use' charges other carriers levy. 300 minutes & 2 months service free with every phone means you practically get the phone free or heavily discounted, depending on the handset you choose.
Network coverage is the best I've seen on prepaid.
The bad: Not very upmarket handsets, although there are now a few nice qwerty sliders and even a blackberry lookalike.
Summary: No hassles with this service. Pay only for the minutes you use. No contract means no ETF, no service fees, no hidden charges and no surprise bills at the end of the month. Refill cards are widely available and very quick and easy to use.
Definitely recommended.
The good: Screen is bright, sharp, and big, CAMERA+Flash, How thin it is, touch D-pad, click buttons instead of capacitive, wi-fi, fun to use, 3.5mm Jack, SO MANY APPS, i could go on and on and on and OOONNN
The bad: W/o wi-fi plus power manager battery = 1 and a half days. With wi-fi battery = A few hours. :P not great battery life. And moto blur EATS BATTERY SO FAST i just disabled it after a while But that is about it
Summary: Sorry this is my first review but HERE WE GO this is my first android phone and i will tell you now I LIKE IT ALOT BETTER THAN ANYTHING STEVE JOBS CAN FART UP :P lol. So if you ask me i made an awesome decision to go from the samsung highlight to the Cliq xt if you are debating an android phone go with this will satisfy any wants or needs
The good: Cool sleek design
The bad: ...None pop into my head.
Summary: This phone is wonderful. By wonderful I mean, this phone get great reception coast to coast and I never have to worry about dropped calls. Tracfone is really a great carrier.
The good: Excellent coverage, service, and price.
The bad: Average to above average phones, no contracted bulk packages for talking/texting.
Summary: Net10 has thus far proven to be a great buy and value. Despite the lack of really fancy phones and huge value plans, Net10 beats most carriers. I doubt most people even use all the minutes they sign up for under a contract, and with Net10 you eliminate the contract and pay only for the minutes you use. The phones are perfectly functional, durable, and allow easy talking/texting. International calling is completely reasonable and great coverage towers are certainly an advantage. Overall, I highly recommend if you're looking to change cell carriers.
The good: This phone is extremely easy to figure out. I figured it out within a matter of days.
The qwerty keyboard and dial pad are easy to get used to for the size of the keys.
For having a 2.0 MP camera, it takes good quality pictures. Videos recorded with the phone have decent sound quality.
Sound quality for the music player is clear and understandable.
Despite bluetooth problems, the phone's internet capabilities make it easy to find what you're looking for and add it to your phone.
T
The bad: On very rare occasions, the qwerty keyboard won't respond. But it can be fixed by simply restarting the phone.
Sound quality on youtube videos aren't very good. Kind of sounds like you're hearing the video played on the other side of the phone.
SD card slot is located underneath the battery. Inconvenient at times.
Sometimes the phone duplicates certain contacts if you add a new contact into your phone.
Summary: If you need a phone that is designed for fast texting and internet, this phone is the way to go. It delivers good quality photos and videos. It's a great phone if you're looking for an upgrade from a basic cell phone. Again, there were problems with the bluetooth, but there are ways around it that don't take up that much of your time. Overall, this is a solid phone that can fit the needs of anyone who uses it.
The good: nice screen
The bad: Speaker sucks, Garbled and very hard to understand, breaks up while speaking and receiving

Summary: Speakers need to be upgraded and field tested before sending out for use
The good: fast messaging, good pics, durable, long battery life
The bad: alot of people have it.
Summary: this phone is easy to text on and super durable. i dropped it countless times, threw it full force at concrete walls mutiple times. dropped it on concrete mutiple times, got it wet countless times, but after 8 months of that it finally broke
The good: Very fast, beautiful screen, battery life is the best, calls are crystal clear,no reception issues, camera an book store put this phone over the top.
The bad: It creates haters who wish they had one
Summary: despite what people are complaining about i have yet to experience any of those issues. I really dig this phone,it's a master piece, all other phones should pay homage.
I am a teen who got this phone because it didn't need a data plan but after having it for a mere two months I just couldn't get used to it. If you're planning on using this phone for texting purposes - do NOT buy it. You can't text at a normal rate on it because it gets your words all messed up since it didn't catch all of the letters you typed. Also, while you are in call it touches your face and you hang of mute the person...not cool if you didn't know what happened and are left talking to nobody! Also, if you can deal with all of the other stuff then the only pro I had was that the music stayed on out of app. My old phone didn't do that. But, I went back to that phone!
The good: good selection of phones, cheap service
The bad: customer service
Summary: I got a pretty decent phone for cheap and am paying way less than I was before. The only thing is that I had some trouble with the people on the phone, but my problem finally got fixed. Overall I'm happy with the phone and the service, cheap and easy.
The good: Absolute best prepaid network coverage! Very low rates with no added charges.
The bad: Limited handsets - no smartphones here...
Very limited web.
Summary: NET10 is a great choice for low and even medium phone users. Low pricing with no extra charges like daily use fees or roaming charges means their pricing plans are simple and easy to understand - always 10c per minute. Takes the guess-work out of it.
Handsets are limited but they have a few very nice feature phones available now.

Absolutely legendary coverage. It seems their phones just work anywhere and everywhere. Very seldom that I'm without signal bars on my phone, call quality is mostly good.

Definitely recommended.
The good: Wonderful service
The bad: None as of yet
Summary: I have been using this phone with that tracfone brand and boy oh boy let me tell you it is great. I no longer have to worry about excessive monthly bills. Thanks tracfone for looking out.
The good: CHEAP, UNLIMITED MINUTES, INTERNET USAGE WHICH IS BECOMING MORE USABLE, ANDROID IS A BIG +++++
The bad: INTERNET SERVICE ON CERTAIN HANDSETS ARE LIMITED, POOR SERVICE IN WAL-MARTS LOL
Summary: OVERALL THE BOOST MOBILE SERVICE IS GREAT FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO DON'T WANT TO PAY OVER $50 FOR UNLIMITED SERVICE. THE ANDROID GIVES AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY THE ADVANTAGES OF A HIGH TECH (APPS, INTERNET BROWSING, VIDEO STREAMING)DEVICE AT A LOW MONTHLY PRICE INSTEAD OF PAYING OVER $100 LIKE OTHER CARRIERS. NOT AS GOOD OVERALL AS OTHERS BUT SUFFICIENT FOR ME. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
The good: Qwerty Keyboard and the good prepaid deal.
The bad: No touchscreen, not a big computer phone,it's more of a general phone.
Summary: The Motorola Clutch at first was an upgrade for Boost Mobile, yet now seems to be losing it's touch with style.
The good: My family and I have had nTelos for about 13 years and have always had good luck. We had them when they were called INTelos wich was long ago. You get service just about anywhere. The costumer service is in the united states so your not talking to some weirdo. The people at the store are very polite and caring. Handset insurance is decent 4/5. Now to the prices 5/5!
The bad: Phone selection is not the best and the Andriod phones available are not the best aka: The HTC hero or the Zero as I call it. If you have a contract and during it you get a better phone they make you pay $16 to swap for the new one.
Summary: Overall I would recommend nTelos to anyone due to the nation wide coverage. I got coverage in parts of Cancun and Paris. So that tells you somthing.
The good: pretty screen
large screen
one of the best physical designs for a phone
The bad: soft keys seem to only function on the upper half of the buttons
Summary: Overall, this is the best phone I've had. The phone has lots of features and you can add a lot more through the market place. And if you update it to Android 2.2, it feels more polished. For a phone, the camera is great. The battery life is optimal if you know how to manage your phone. The screen is very pretty, except in direct sunlight, its very hard to see anything. But I barely use my phone in direct sunlight so I dont have much of an issue.
I only have two main issues with this phone. The soft keys are only responsive on the upper half. The second issues is the android keyboard. This is my opinion but the keyboard is awful. I recommend buying the "Smart Keyboard" on the market place because the stock keyboard isn't multitouch compatible and the keys in portrait mode are just way to close together and you often mis-spell something in about 50% of messages you send. I'm an avid texter, so this irritates me greatly.
Other than that, I love this phone
