The good: best family deals, costumer service, great phones, network is great!
The bad: phones a little on the high end to upgrade. data plans should include unlimited text.
Summary: Overall T-Mobile has served me well, don't plan on changing anytime soon. great plan rates and love the phone selection. love to see T-Mobile grow here in the states as they have abroad.
The good: Inexpensive, great coverage, great phones.
The bad: The only con I have found is the East Indian customer service is a little hard to understand sometimes.
Summary: I have been with Cricket Wireless for over 9 years and have nothing but good things to say. The coverage has increased in the past years to include most everywhere in the U.S. and their signal quality is great. I understand if you maybe came from another over priced inflated phone company to this one, you may not like the service. But for people that aren't worried about having the best phone ever and the hottest new stuff out it's a great company to go with.
The good: Been with this company for more then 15 years and always had great service, even if I traveled 1/2 across US.
The bad: New upgrade on voicemail system sucks, make you listen to any old messages first...before it will play the newest message...the older voicemail was alot better
Summary: I get alot of voice mail, and having to listen to old messages first everytime I check my newest message is a real problem...and even though I have had great service with them I am willing to try another service provider that has better messaging service.
The good: 4g!!!!!!!! this phone is amazing even though it lacks an operating system but that doesnt mean anything it has email wifi youtube apps for myspace facebook twitter windows live and aol and music download and tv. im tired of people always picking on metro pcs because of their lack of signal or 3g if you don't think that it is good then why does everybody spend so much time talking about it or complaining about it so even though you hate it you like it just enough to hate it. anyway other pros are
The bad: no os
no apps

Summary: This is an amazing phone worth getting if you want inexpensive fast nation wide coverage 4g! and many other great features in your phone i say if you have metro and you have 4g get this phone! Also if your on sprint t-mobile at@t or verizon i hope you like getting ripped off.
The good: Small, light and compact
The bad: Too many to list! Very small QWERTY keyboard; control of tracking very difficult even when you lower sensitivity;
Summary: I had this phone for two weeks, and it was extremely difficult to use. Blackberry attempted to compete with the iphone but missed the mark completely. When you began to use the phone, you never knew what app was going to appear on the screen. Going from one screen (app) to another was a crapshoot to say the least. I traded it in for an iphone and I'm glad I did.
The good: Brand name phones for low prices
The bad: None :)
Summary: The Tracfone service has been nothing but perfect to me. Offering brand name phones, low prices, super savings each month, nationwide coverage, it's the whole package deal. Switching to this prepaid service was one of the smartest decisions I have made and definitely reccommend it to all!
The good: the apps are the best!!!!
The bad: the picture quality could be better tho. The battery life is not the best either.
Summary: I recently purchased the Sanyo Zio and I LOVE this phone. It makes me feel like i have a pocket sized computer!!!!!!
The good: My wife had service in Montana on Net 10 while my ATT phone didn't have a signal. Phone has given good service and .10 a minute is a lot better than my ATT at .25 a minute. Will be changing to Net10 when my minutes run out.
The bad: Had to call cs one time and the wait was about 30 minutes. The rep spoke English with a Spanish accent...she said she was in Caracas.
Summary: So far, 9/2010, the service has been good and better than some of the other reviewers have experienced. Would go with Platinumtel for .05 a minute but their coverage isn't as good as Net10.
The good: I have this phone for about 10 month.
It is small and great when it works.
The bad: It just turns totally off sometimes. On some days it turns off about 20 times and on other days not at all. Also, sometimes it gives me an echo. Now it stopped ringing, it only vibrates. I went to the store and they couldn't help

Summary: I am getting a replacement and hope it works. Wouldn't buy it again.
The good: Durable, two batteries, GPS, Mobile Hotspot via tethering or bluetooth, Live search- say it and it finds it. Fast Fast if on good EVDO network.
The bad: ???????????????? No longer produced, too good of phone.
Summary: This Samsung M800 is by far the best phone for what I require in a mobile electronic device. Phone, GPS, MP3 player, live TV and Radio, news and weather, Google Earth works well. The ability to connect via bluetooth 2.0 or tether to a Laptop for Internet access anywhere you have a cell phone signal with download speeds averaging 1.5 Mbps. I have owned a few Samsung Instinct M800 over the past two years because of accidental damage and still have not found a phone worth "upgrading" to. I dont really watch full length movies on a 3" screen so an amoled HD 4 inch screen with slide out qwerty keyboard(something else to break) doesn't impress me. Seems like phones of today are hyped up huge devices that requires cellular plans that are way overpriced. $69 a month is what I pay for everything. If you find one of these phones, KEEP IT ! You wont regret it
The good: EVERTHING
The bad: NONE
Summary: THIS IS MY FIRST SMART PHONE. BUT IVE PLAYED AROUND WITH ALOT OF OTHER SMARTPHONES WITH IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS AND THIS IS THE BEST PHONE OUT TODAY. WOW WHAT A GREAT PHONE THATS ALL I CAN SAY
The good: QWERTY keyboard
Opera Mini Browser
Hello UI
Threaded text messaging
The bad: Camera can take some grainy pictures
Stock web browser
Touchscreen can be a bit laggy
Main Menu
Summary: This is a great option if you want an LG Rumor Touch but without the 2 year contract. The touchscreen is OK, but it can be a bit laggy at times. When you tap the home tab or the home button, you get a list where you can edit and remove apps. When you go to the main menu, the main menu is in a list style form. It can be boring. The Hello UI Interface is pretty unique. You go to the Hello UI tab on the botton and you can add or romove contacts from the list and you can circle around the contacts and send a group text message. The QWERTY keyboard on this row is excellent. You get 5 rows, the top dedicated to numbers. They have nice bubble-like shape and they have tactile feedback. You also get a emotion con button. The stock web browser is pretty weak. You can download the Opera Mini web browser 5.1. This makes web browsing on this phone awsome. You get a calender, record voice, voice reader, memory card slot located at the side of the phone, the lock/power button is on the left side, and a dedicated camera key on the right side. The camera is 2.0 Megapixels. It takes OK pictures, but just dont expect high end pictures. You get the basic settings like Fun frames, change resolution, etc. You can also record video. You can pause it and change the brightness or zoom in while recording video. The call quality is exellent. I could hear the other end clearly. The battery life of the phone is OK. But you do have to recharge it after 2 days or more if you use the web alot.
The good: Awesome memory, sweet HD camera, VERY peppy, beautiful screen
The bad: See Summary. Thanks
Summary: This is by far the best phone I have ever used. I'm coming from a G1 and I know it's an upgrade, but I've had many smartphones and this is the best.
The memory is awesome..You get 16 gigs and a dedicated 2 gigs just for apps..Rocking..lol You also have an SD slot, supports SDHC cards with sizes up to 32 gigs. Thats a total of 48 gigs and after formatting, your looking at a solid 46-47 gigs.
The camera is glorious but when it's windy, you can tell in the final product. It shoots at 1280 X 720 and they look amazing.
Wifi is very quick on this with the wireless N.

There are some issues that a buyer must be aware about.
1)GPS is working but only sorta. You have to use the option to 'use wireless networks' in the Location and security tab of the settings menu.

2)Some users experience lag. SOME users..I only have only experienced lag when it's charging, and thats while typing.

3)Some people have experienced random shut downs. It occurs when the battery is fully charged. It will do a random shutdown and you want know it. I let mine charge all night and when I get up, I play music and it drains the battery some. That way it dosent turn off.

All issues are supposed to be fixed when the 2.2 Froyo update comes out sometime in September.

Overall it's a very nice phone. I have had 2 co-workers and my g/f change from iPhones to a Captivate..lol
The good: Price for those who don't use more than 300 min. per month. Reception is great in South Florida. Unlimited Text Data and internet.
The bad: Need a better selection of phones. More smartphones.
Summary: My Customer Service Experience was Superb! The Virgin Mobile rep Ported my old phone # for me only hours after I got my phone and activated it. He even stayed on the line and 3 wayed the call while I had to get some pertinent info from ATT. My bill is set on an auto pay for the same amount & same day of the month. Virgin charges $25 + sales tax = $26.63 - No FCC and various other taxes that drive up the "real" bill each month. The unlimited Text and internet is a great deal. The 3G connection in the area I live in is as fast as most other phones. Service by Sprint is great in Martin County. I bought the LG Rumor Touch and after only a few months the savings @ $25/mo. have more than paid for the phone already. With no contract I can change phones and upgrade when they offer more choices at will. This is the way to go for those who talk less than 300 min / mo.
I bought this service for my teen son, he was begging and begging for a cell phone and I ran out of excuses to buy him one when we came across Net 10. I got him a LG cell phone and he is thrilled. The treat for parents is the fact that's prepaid. I allot an x amount each month on his cell phone card and that's what he gets. Amazingly instead of expending more and ask for more minutes, my son learned to actually control and administrate the balance on his card. I think it's great!
The good: Affordable, bang for your buck plans, competent and knowledgeable 24/7 customer service that answer quickly, durable Samsung phones (I still have t-mo cells from 2001 and 2002 that work great, and they took a beating!). Great alternative to other slightly better, but rip-off carriers.
The bad: Not as reliable nor as cutting edge as competition, it would be great to have a prepaid smartphone and plan along with it, because the carriers that do offer it are horrendous. It's underdog image often means it gets overlooked.
Summary: I surely can't speak for everyone, but for me personally, T-Mobile is my favorite. The service has been good, with very few dropped calls and/or dead zones where I am located and where I travel. 24/7 customer service is easy to reach, friendly, knowledgeable, and based in U.S. no language barriers here! Contract plans are great bang for buck and you can really tailor a contract to your needs. I see the calling plans for ATT and Verizon, and just laugh. For prepaid, you can't beat $50 a month for unlimited talk and text, if that's all you ever need your cell for. If you need simple web browsing or to check your email, it is 99 cents per day. T Mobile has always been the underdog, and I still don't understand why they keep on losing customers over to other carriers. Admittedly, reception is not perfect and the phone choices aren't as great as other carriers, but they sure aren't boring either. Do yourself a favor and try T-Mobile first, you'll thank yourself later. I was with T-Mobile for 3 years, then tried to Verizon, what a disappointment. I canceled the contract with them and back to T-Mobile, where I should have stayed all along. Don't overlook them!
The good: Gorgeous HD videos, Stunning display, overall better reception than previous models, very fast, simple to use, and easy to use high quality video chatting.
The bad: AT&T Network (depending on where you live), minor flaw in the antenna design, & minor software bugs (updates coming soon to fix those).
Summary: The iPhone 4 is with out a doubt the BEST iPhone to date and arguably the most LUXURIOUS Smartphone on the market. Apple(AAPL) has done a fantastic job on making the U.I. easy to use for almost every consumer that touches it. The Multi-touch is totally and completely flawless! Apple's new Retina Display is gorgeous, and all though there has been some controversy over the claim that the human eye cant discern the separate pixels, I have to say that I personally cant see a single one. The new HD video camera takes beautiful 720 P video, and if you are willing to spend a extra 5 bucks you can get the iMovie video editing app (which I highly recommend) and edit your beautiful HD movies right on your phone, after which you can export to the computer in full HD! Now another thing about this phone is, IT IS FAST! And I mean really fast, with Apple's A4 chip powering it apps launch and are up and running within 2 to 3 seconds! Now you might be wondering, well if its so fast wont that drain the battery more? Well Apple has a solution for that, Its called MAKING THE BATTERY 40% BIGGER! This thing really does last all day.
Now I want to talk about the "Antenna Problem". So look, when it comes down to it, Yes I can make it happen by griping the phone in the lower left conner really hard, but in all Honesty in terms of daily use this problem really does not happen that often. I mean you really have to squeeze the thing to make it happen, so I don't consider it that big of a deal and neither do 99.5% of iPhone 4 users, and that is hard fact taken strait from apple them selfs.
Finally to end on a really good note, there is FaceTime. FaceTime which is Apple's FREE video chatting service is a dream to use. Its simple to use and works between all iPhone 4s and iPod touchs' 4TH gen. On iPhone you just dial a number like you have sense your first phone, and then hit the FaceTime button, its that simple.
So all in all iPhone 4 is a Fantastic phone and where it has MINOR flaws it makes up for with a Beautiful, simple to use, And powerful phone that has over A QUARTER OF A MILLON APPS in its app store. So go get yours today!
The good: convenient, flexible, affordable
The bad: so far, so good
Summary: I'm on a very tight budget, as I'm sure most be are right now, and decided to make some changes. I had heard about prepaid cell phones and plans but thought how good could that be. Well, to my surprise, I wish I had done this sooner. When I got the phone the activation came with 300 minutes and 60 days service. My phone helps to track my minutes and lets me buy new minutes when my balance gets low. It has 5 cent text messaging and international calls are only 15 cents. Now, I can keep in touch with all of my family and not worry about finances.
The good: beautifull phone, high tech looks, easy use, smooth and fast, screen was brilliant, loved the mixture of metal and glass
The bad: a few dropped calls, no flash, screen is small for my taste,
Summary: if you like an average size screen, want a beautifull device, one that is fast and smooth, plus a pleasure to look at, with decent price, this if worth it, i had no yellowing issues or proximity problems, i went from 3gs to this device, both are great, bottom line best features = speed and ease of use, just wished they had tested it more and found glitches before they released it, you may have problems , you may not. thanks
This phone has been extremely reliable for me. I have great coverage with minimal drop calls, the volume is perfect, it's a very sturdy phone it has lasted almost 2 years with my temper and my 2 kids drooling all over it and playing with it. My phone is the only one in this household that gets service. I have not had any problems with it even after throwing it at my husband's car, a metal door, and a few walls. I love this phone. I could not have asked for a better one! If you don't want a fancy smartphone I would most definitely recommend the I776w to you!
