In the begining of getting the phone it was very fast and functional. There were no lags, no force closing, and no loss in phone call reception. But through the months of downloading more apps and moving them over to my SD card it started overheating and rebooting on its own and freezing on a day to day basis. Its still a problem now but i do whatever i can to push through it and get to the good. Gaming on this phone is spectacular! There is the occational stutter or two but other than that its very smooth. The screen might not be the highest resolution but has vibrant colors and sharp text even up close. The camera could be better even though its an 8 MP camera. Although the video capture is great! Personally i like the way the phone looks with the metal accents and the screen drop off on the sides makes it a very comfortable. I've had this phone since December 27 and there are the minor problems here and there. I believe most of the problems will disapear if the G2x gets the new 4.0 software update or at least i newer version of gingerbread with LG's new UI. Over all i hate to say it but if i were to walk into T-Mobile right now, i would skip this phone. I really wish i saved my money for a phone with more customization. And Android 4.0.
I've had this phone for about a month and I love it at first. The screen is beautiful takes pretty good pictures but that is the only good thing about this phone. I use Email and play games a lot, I have to charge twice a day. The screen transition is not smooth. A lot of apps are not compatible or can't decipher if it is an tablet or a phone, so a lot of apps Force Close. Another thing I thought I'd love about it was the size, well I was wrong. It's awkward to hold, typing a email or texting is hard on the hands. It's definitely not a one handed phone, I've almost dropped it at least 10 times. So on to another phone.
Great over all Only thing is I wish ICS would hurry up already so it can be used on this device also its a bit on the heavy side other than that the durability is fantastic and everything is great on this phone cant wait
Display is much better than most would have you to believe and reception is excellent. I had a Samsung Galaxy then went to Iphone 4s (hated the iphone environment with a passion) and now have a Maxx. Reception is excellent, call quality great, 4g stability is the best of any device I have tried. Battery actually allows you to use it as these latest generation phones are designed to be used!
I had my note for two months now and I have no complaints what so ever and it is a fantastic smartphone. I think the best phone in the market now.
Display-
The Display is gorgeous to be hold, it really expresses the Black very clearly, Definitely an Improvement over the Old Iteration of Pentile Matrix, as I would know had my Photon 4G, great phone as well, compared to this qHD Super Amoled Advance PHEW! Yeah all of that. But I think the phone does lack somewhere in the screen, would be a 5/5 if it were a HD Screen, or the Retina Display Equivalent.
Reception & Call Quality-
Well, As His Highness Aaron Baker I ( the first) has pointed it out the Motorola Does a great job with their Wireless radio dept, and this one is no exception. Call quality is great on this and Hence I really dont see any room for Improvement.
Battery Life-
Well the major reason for that score is blamed to the Existence of a RaZr MAXX! But this is phone is no too choppy, It surely gets me through a Day, I dont think I can Moonlight an App, So I will just say, this Defender App does a great job to Supercharge your battery life, And So I get about 15-20 Hours on this! Which just makes the Cut for me.
Design & from factor-
Well, I mean just look at it, It surely does a great job in Living up to the RAZR name, Its an absolute joy to pull this out and receive calls and what not! One thing I must point out, I am Someone who like wide phones, for reason I still have to figure out myself, And the width on this phone is perfect, It was told it can be difficult to hold this on the hand, But I consider it no less than perfect.
KEVLAR BACK! Hell yeah! I mean its so radicle and Pointless at the same time, It feel great! I am sure it offers little to some protection to the phone, but It looks Fabulous! And I think that is part of the reason it was though in the first place! Kudos to Motorola for Innovation here!
Apps & Media-
Well its a known fact, Android Apps are growing like a weed, 10 Billion benchmark a few months ago and Quickly catching up with iOS but yet still far! Media Support is great, Motorola has a GREAT Eco system for accessories, Such at the laptop dock and speakers and bluetooth and what not, I am sure you will find what your looking for once you go over their Website.
Non-Removable battery-
People have this Misconception that Android hangs a lot and freezes every other time, Well let me tell u folks my RaZr has NEVER froze and I never had a unseen reboot with it so far, I had no though to pull of the battery so help me reboot. Android has become more stable than most people think.
Its a great device to have and an everyday joy using it.

ive had the i phone 4 shortly before the 4s came out and ive had every phone os out there from windows to android and finally ios its just plain easy to use its a great for the non tec person out there

I love this phone I have the international white version and it just blows me away more and more everyday. I've had it for 2months now and the screen and proformance of this thing is just second to none. The camera is excellent the speaker could be a little louder but that is really my only complaint
I got my phone from wirefly and every since upgrading from the lg optimus m it was the best decision i ever made this phone is fast Metropcs 4g is fast enough to handle all my facebooking, twittering, gaming, etc. and youtube and all i pay thanks to metropcs is 40$ a month. If you end up buying this phone i promises you you'll love it only thing bad is batter life the most i get is 7hours which is a school day for me before i get to a charger but i can sometimes get 11hours so if you live in a metropcs home 4g area this phone is really worth taking a look at
This phone is perfect. It has an incredible screen as well as a great form factor.
The only data sometimes disconnects at random but it might be just my phone because I haven't heard others complain. Otherwise, am excellent phone!
While at the Verizon store I was deceiving between this and the Galaxy Nexus. in the end I chose this because of battery life. This in mind I LOVE my phone because it does everything I want with no restriction I want an app not in PLAY I can get it I want to emulate so be it but when I need my phone to be a phone and just do what I want it to no matter how late into the night I'm out I can count on my phone to make beautiful and drop-less calls.
This is one heck of a good phone I've recommended it since it is such a great phone.
