I came from the note 2. This phone is simply amazing. The screen is incredible. Runs smooth. The battery life is great for the simple fact that when I'm not using it the battery doesn't drain. If I put it in my pocket at 95% then it comes out at 95%. I do notice that the data and call service is a little spotty. The dual window compared to Samsung multi task is close but not the same. People have said to me that the phone is so big and when I hold it up to theirs (S5 and G2) it is the same or smaller, just a bigger actual screen. Amazing and glad I made the switch.
The speakers are very good for a smartphone. The display has good color reproduction, and the battery can vary. But overall I am satisfied.

This phone is a beast! With the Quad HD display, nothing compares. One may think that since not very many apps are ready for this type of resolution, it is not useful or practical. This could not be further from the truth. Out of the box, you will notice the difference right away. I upgraded from a Galaxy S4 that had one of the most impressive screens of any smartphone, and I cannot go back. Everytime I look at my old S4's screen, it just looks darker, less bright, and over all, less eye catching. Other than the screen, the processor with 3GB of RAM in my 32GB Model makes this by far the fastest phone I have ever used! The only thing that maybe faster is the Nexus 5 just due to the fact that it does not have any skins on top of it. But back to the G3! The battery life is the next thing that puts this phone on top. With my previous S4, I had to have an extra battery or charger on me at all times, because it would barely last 4 to 5 hours before being at 20% and complaining to be charged. The G3 has a 3000 mAh battery that somehow packs enough punch to power the QHD display and give me far better battery life than that of the S4. I charged my phone last night at 11:00PM. I took it off the charger at 3:00 AM the next morning, and it is 7:37PM of the same day and I am at 80% battery life. Try getting that with any other phone and it just wont happen. Trust me, I have tried. Overall, this phone is the perfect pair for anyone that is seeking a phablet type phone that can provide them with excellent specs for entertainment or business purposes! Life's Good with the G3!
The only drawback is the camera. I came from a Note 2 and the picture quality was far better on the N2 then the N3 which is odd. I thought it was a flaw but I also have a N3 on Vzw and Tmo and they both perform poor. The shutter speed has so much lag in it that by the time it take the actual photo it's too late.
went from a iphone 4s to the s4 and yes the os is way better but the battery is not any better. ordered an extended battery with 7500mah and the battery lasts me 9 hours of about 1 hour with pandora and usage of facebook and games while at work for 8 hours with 50% battery left. the screen is a god size and the display is amazing.
overall the phone is excellent when the phone has battery power or your hooked up to charger if you dont buy an extended battery
With the ability to install android apps most notably from the amazon App Store which you can download from the amazon website, there's no limitations. Virtual keyboard is above the rest compared to iOS and android for which I came from to Blackberry 10 from. It's a communication beast withy the hub which is what I use my phone for primarily.
I only dont like the call quality, and overheating problem, the rest is super amazing,,
The clean design of the LG Nexus 5 has a great feel in the hand. The updates to the Nexus 5 come quite frequently and it's very awesome that it still gets updated 16 months + after its successor comes out. Amazing specs along with an amazing price, from 2 quality companies.
The Nexus 5 is a representation of android in its purest, simplest form. Gone are the slow updates, lag and duplicate apps of other manufacturer skins. The nexus 5 is still fabulously smooth close to 9 months after its release and is up to date with all the latest features and software. It does a great job at displaying those updates too on its bright and true to life 1080p screen. For everyone wanting a high end and durable android device, the Nexus 5 should be top of your list.
The Other comparisons are S5 which looses purely coz of its looks #PlasticSucks and HTC one got its crappy Camera got it lost !
With lcd3 colors are more real and the metal build!!!... OMG I just love to hold this phone in my hands, it feels so solid and premium also, I love the dot view cover, for me it's better than the s-view cover in terms of design.
THE BEAST. It's plain and simple. The camera is good enough for me. Frankly if i was using pictures for any other than social media, i would take those photos using standard proper camera. so this is the phone no doubt
