the 350 dollar price tag is excellent for the specs you get. You get a quad-core processer, an hd display, 2 gb of ram, and many more.
I was speculating whether to go for Note2 or Nexus 4. I thought I will try this device for a week and decide. This is an exceptional phone with amazing battery life and UI experience. I feel little bit big in my hands sometimes but I decided to ignore the only negative (its also positive when looking at the content) wrt to the positives it offers. S-pen is revolutionary and sending emails is very less time consuming now. Great device and am sure it will keep me entertained for 2 yrs.
Been using it so far a very good phone, love the keyboard and the camera. App is not much but can see it is growing. Overall a happy user.
Insanely huge! At least for the first couple days. Now every time I see or hold an iPhone I snicker at the owner because I don't know how they function with such a small screen. I still haven't killed the battery, I rarely get below 50% even after a whole day. Will hold onto this phone for a long time.
The Galaxy Note II still has some of the best 'Extra' features of any smartphone.
Battery life is acceptable but not amazing like past BlackBerry's. But, I understand that will improve with new software updates. As for App support, I think of it like game console releases...I don't expect every app that will exist during the life of the platform to be present on day one. I do expect new 'titles' to appear as time goes on to keep my interest.
iOS 6 might be stale but it is still useful and functional. However, additional features are welcome addition. iPhone 5 is still the best lookin smartphone in the planet.
This phone is awesome. looks are great, performance is great and it runs all the apps available in the play store.
4 weeks in, the Z10 continues to impress. With LTE off, battery life is excellent. The UI is sweet. I have more installed apps then I did on my iPhone -- probably because the latest and greatest are trending so I'm willing to spend some time checking them out. Truly an excellent phone!
Powered by the new BB10 OS, the Z10 is the first smartphone on this new and redesigned platform, forget about the problems of the legacy os, bb7 and every other os behind, this is a new experience, a new operating system, that excels on multitasking and gets the job done, it has 70,000 apps from the start, but the appfront is constantly growing, skype and whatsapp gonna be there next month, and they have all the games you can imagine or use to have on ios or android, so its really a great new platform an has everything you could expect from a flagship phone and more
This phone does everything that can be expected from a Top of the line phone. The only thing that I woul say hinders it, is the fact that it's not supported on the other 3 major carriers, Verizon/Sprint/T-Mobile, where as the Galaxy S3, the Note 2,and iPhone are all carried on all networks, so everyone gets to enjoy the phone of these amazing phones.. Other than that, Screen is amazing, call quality/signal is great, battery life is for me on the average 27 hours of usage. It comes with a Quad-core processor, and 64 Gigs of Memory. The reason I give it a 4 on Design/Form Factor, is because I love the look of Metals used on phones, like the New HTC One that was just revealed a couple of days ago. Now I wish I waited a couple of months to use my upgrade.. oh well.. lol..
This is Blackberry's new entry into the smartphone market and it could not be better, literally there is so few they could do to actually make this phone better
Blackberry 10 is the most secure and most stable system that has every exsisted and now its in a phone !
The Blackberry z10 is a gret device whihc has put the competition once again behind in the smartphone race.
Blackberry has done it again in keeping ahead of the pack.
The phone is fast, display is awesome, pictures are awesome wittout any hiccups.
Battery life i can get 14-19hrs out of the phone on light usage and around 10-12 hrs on medium usuage and around 6-8 hrs on hevy usage, now on ecxtreme usage this can vary 3-5 hrs anf of course not everyone can get teh same usage in hrs as everyone is different, but most people on light usage average 16 hrs.
App support i rated a 5 star even though apps are there and support s well for media in time very soon blackberry developers will have over 250,000 apps coming within the next few months of 2013.
I have an iPhone 5 but got a BB Z10 as well and I love it! It is much more advanced and when I go back to my iPhone 5 it's like I am going back to an antique... I don't care about 700,000 apps, you can only download so much on a 32GB phone... plus most of them are garbage! Who needs fart apps? The only two things that I miss on the BB Z10 are skype and whatsapp. I am sure they will come soon! Apple did not start with 700,000 apps straight from the beginning, they reached this number of apps in time, over a few years! The same thing will happen with BB, as there will be lots of BB Z10 and Q10 users, the developers will be motivated to create or addapt them. This is just imho!
Spend some time with this phone and you'll fall in love. Not just 30 sec at the carrier in store display, but some real time. Find someone who owns one and have them walk you through the OS. You'll not be disappointed. The one downfall is the lack of big name apps, but the big name developers seem hell bent on seeing Blackberry fail. Go figure.
