Samsung is becoming known for its Android-powered flip phones, as it’s one of the only companies making flip smartphones, and today Samsung introduced another such device.
The Samsung SM-G9298 is now official. This high-end Android flip phone is packing two 4.2-inch 1920x1080 Super AMOLED displays (one internal, one external), a main 12-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Inside this flip phone’s body is a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a microSD slot. Also included is a 2300mAh battery and wireless charging support.
The SM-G9298 will be offered in China on China Mobile for an undisclosed priced. As with Samsung’s other Android-powered flip phones, there’s no word on a wider launch.
This looks like a pretty solid Android device, offering some high-end specs in a form factor that’s different than the majority of smartphones currently on the market. Unfortunately, most of us probably won’t ever get the chance to try the SM-G9298, so we’ll just have to settle for ogling it in photos.
Would you buy the Samsung SM-G9298 if it were available in your country?
