Samsung today expanded its selection of unlocked Android smartphones with two new devices.
Unlocked versions of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (above) and Galaxy J7 (below) will launch in the U.S. on July 28th. They’ll be available from Samsung.com and major retails, with the former device priced at $149.99 and the later at $219.99.
When it comes to specs, the Galaxy J3 is packing a 5-inch 1280x720 display, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, a quad-core processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of storage included and a microSD slot for adding more storage, and a 2600mAh battery is powering the whole package. On the software side, the Galaxy J3 is running Android 7.0 below Samsung’s custom UI.
The Galaxy J7 is the higher-end of the pair. It’s got 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a larger 3300mAh battery. Also included is Android 7.0 running on a 5.5-inch 1280x720 display, 16GB of storage, and a microSD slot.
