We’re still a few weeks out from Lenovo’s Tech World event, but today Motorola posted a teaser to get us hyped for what it’ll announce there.
The video teaser shows several high schoolers, all seemingly from different cliques. The one thing that they have in common is that they’ve all got a Motorola RAZR, the super-thin (at least for the time) flip phone that millions owned. The clip ends with the Motorola logo and the date of Lenovo’s tech world event, which is June 9.
We’ll have to wait until June 9 to find out exactly what Motorola is teasing in this video, but thanks to some recent leaks, we can make an educated guess. Given that Motorola’s teaser shows the RAZR, known for its thinness, it’s possible that Moto is teasing the Vector Thin that’s been leaking lately. Rumors suggest that it’ll have a 5.2mm-thick body, which is pretty thin for a smartphone in 2016.
If the Vector Thin does indeed debut on June 9, we could see the Motorola Vector with it. While not as thin (rumored to be 7mm thick), the two phones are similar enough that it seems likely that Motorola would announce them together.
