Sony’s no stranger to offering smartphones with ginormous displays, and now it looks like the company is cooking up another big handset.
Images of a new Xperia C series phone from Sony have leaked on Chinese forum Baidu. The phone is said to have a 6-inch display, and we can also see that it’s got a big front-facing camera complete with its own flash. The photos also show the device’s rear camera with flash and the microUSB port on the bottom of the unit, and there appears to be a physical camera button on the lower right side of the device, too.
Most of the details on this unannounced Xperia C series device are light, but it’s rumored to include dual SIM card support and a MediaTek processor.
While this phone is still unofficial, it could be a follow-up to last year’s Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, a “super mid-range” phone that includes a 6-inch 1920x1080 display and 13-megapixel front-facing camera. We’ll have to wait for Sony to make today’s leaked phone official before we know what kind of specs it’ll pack, but if this is indeed a new C-series model, it could end up packing specs similar to the Xperia C5 Ultra.
