Another luxury BlackBerry 10 smartphone has surfaced.
The Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite is an updated version of the P’9983 that launched in September 2014. This new model features the same specs as the original P’9983, like a 3.1-inch 720x720 touchscreen, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon 24 Plus processor, 64GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and a 2100mAh battery. It also comes with BlackBerry 10 preinstalled.
So what makes the P’9983 Graphite different? It’s got new graphite metallic-colored parts and an Italian leather back door cover. BlackBerry says that you can choose from eight different colors for your device.
The Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite is being sold for $1,950. In exchange for all of those dollars, you’ll get your P’9983 as well as a special 2AAXXXXX BBM PIN that’s exclusive to Porsche Design device owners. Also in the box is a premium headset, an international charging kit, and a polishing cloth. There will also be a custom-designed leather pocket available for the P’9983 that has an “exclusive LED jewel message indicator.”
BlackBerry and Porsche Design’s latest luxury phone will be sold in Porsche Design stores, select carriers, and unspecified retailers around the globe in the coming weeks.
