Android 5.0.1 has been the new hotness in the Google world for the past week or two, but apparently that’s no longer the case.
Google just posted an Android 5.0.2 factory image for the Nexus 7 (2012) Wi-Fi. The update is build LRX22G, which differs from the LRX22C build that’s also known as Android 5.0.1. No other devices have an Android 5.0.2 factory image as of this writing.
Since the factory image just appeared, there’s no word yet on exactly what’s different between it and Android 5.0.1. Considering that it’s just another x.x.1 bump, we’re likely looking at a small bug-fixer, but for now we’ll just have to be patient and see what’s included when users begin loading 5.0.2 onto their Nexus 7 (2012)s.
