The name alone should tip you off that this will never be a Tony's Cell Stop weekly special. That's right, status-seekers abroad (in Europe, Asia and a few other points outside the U.S.) can soon claim title to the latest Porsche-branded mobile phone for a mere £600 to £800 ($875 to $1,100 US).
Made for the discerning luxury consumer (What global recession?), the Porsche P'9522 sports an outer casing made from one solid aluminum block and one sheet of scratchproof glass. But there's a sweet engine under the bonnet too, with Wifii, GPS, a 2.8" touchscreen OLED display, and even a fingerprint scanner for security, so the help can't sneak a call while you're out playing polo.
Interested? It's easy to pick one up. Simply ask the driver to pull into the nearest Porsche specialist or shoppe, or swing by Harrods or Selfridges. Not that it's a concern for you, but if you have any twinge of guilt, take heart that the P'9522 will be less conspicuously consumptive than its predecessor, the P'9521 flip mobile, which currently sells for over £1000 ($1,500+ US).
But it's so gauche to talk about money. Let's just admire the handsome countenance below instead.
