Amazon has been taking the mobile fight to Google quite a bit lately. Amazon’s got its Fire tablets and Fire phone to go up against Google’s Nexus devices, the Amazon Fire TV competes with the Nexus Player and, while Amazon does use Android on its mobile hardware, the devices are heavily-skinned and use the Amazon Appstore instead of Google Play. Now Amazon’s got an answer for the Chromecast as well.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is now available for preorder ahead of its November 19 launch. The device is priced at $39, but from now until Wednesday, Amazon Prime members can snag a Fire TV Stick for $19. Here are the specs that Amazon’s new streaming stick includes:

When compared to Google’s $35 Chromecast, Amazon’s Fire TV Stick includes a beefier processor and additional storage and RAM. One glaring omission from the Fire TV Stick’s feature set is HBO Go, which is compatible with Google’s Chromecast. Still, the Amazon Fire TV Stick looks like an interesting option for those folks looking for a set-top box/streamer, especially those that are Amazon Prime members.
